I think some kind of deal where Reguillon goes to Barca and we get Raphinha would suit all parties. Raphinha knows the league, and offers dynamism on the right.

They have Lamal for the RW.
But more so they need to sell a star player for cash but also to allow Williams to be registered due to the heat on them from La Liga…

We give them Reggi in return for a season long loan with Raph with on obligation to buy for £40m as they still owe Leeds somewhere between £20-£25m.
They can then make up the shortfall in Raph’s salary for the first season as well, it’s about time someone pulled Barcas pants down.
How much did we an actually pay for him? I think it was £27m. We may still owe Madrid a few million.

Yep, the Reguillon news and then the Williams bid may point to us already having struck a deal with Barca...
I imagine we're trying to keep it quiet as much as possible, before the inevitable Chelsea bid.
One can hope.
He'd be my no 1 choice for RW, he played the perfect role for us at Leeds, presses like a demon, incredibly talented, can play on the left if needed and AM. Imo a better signing than Neto. Also banged in goals wherever he's been.
The only slight flaw in the plan is Raphinha actually wanting to join spurs. Other than that it's airtight.

I think Barca would be very keen to sell him if they can. Doubt we’d get much discount with Regi involved tho. I’m not sure Raphinha would be soo keen to come tho and I do struggle to see us matching his 240k p/w contract.
