I would have thought acceleration would be a better metric to use to measure the impact of a players overall physical attributes.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion they'll come back for him. They're hardly flushed with cash these days, and it's going to cost them £45 million to bring him back. That's £45 million they could put towards Mbappe, or whatever galactico it is they'll trying to sign in '21 and '22.

But if they line up a deal where they can sell him for more a la Morata, they'll buy him back.

That’s the point about him having to agree to go. They can’t easily do that as the player can say no. Whereas a lot of but back deals don’t require that

Essentially, all we need is to be more appealing to young Sergio than any club Madrid could sell him onto, unless Madrid actual intend to play him themselves. That about right?

How about we injure him, i.e. get someone to "pay him a visit", for two years and then he'll be ours forever?

As I understand it he has to want to go back for them to be able to activate the buyback clause. So the only thing we effectively have to do over the next 2 years is become bigger than Real Madrid.

Put him into a medically induced coma for two years and be first to comfort him when he wakes up. He'll never leave... ever... or else!

Hes been at Madrid since he was 8 and he is Madrid born, the chances are IF they come back in for him he will want to go. I don't think they will go for him under ZZ however.

Enjoy and appreciate his talents whilst we have him here... The rest will take care of itself. If and when he leaves we will be fine.

Was very good today, lovely energy down left and that cross for Kane was beautiful.

Shame other three defenders shit.

Incredible that someone is so free with showing the world how stupid they are

Yes, lets sell a player to Spurs for a few weeks only to buy him back for 15 mill more and not be able to play him for the season because he's registered with them. That would be soo clever.

...actually its the type of thing Man Utd would do to be fair

Would Real Madrid count twice? Are players not allowed to register with more than two clubs or not allowed to register more than twice?

Apart from letting his man go on their 2nd goal, him or Lucas didn't exactly cover themselves in glory there.
