Huddlestone wins hands down.
I would of said Fazio
Huddlestone wins hands down.
Agree with this, Kyle Walker Peters would not have put that cross in for Vertonghen against Dortmund.Probably true but he has shown genuine quality in the CL and he’s much more prone to cross the ball more readily and accurately than our other fullbacks. We need him fit and putting in some serious shifts because we are flat as fuck at the moment
I still think Aurier is by far our best RB option but either he's constantly injured or not right behind the scenes because aside from a few rash challenges/mistakes in games in his early career for us, he's been absolutely fine and quite solid, positionally he's better than KWP, he's stronger and faster and can whip a ball in (like vs Dortmund), yet to see any of that from KWP.
Could somebody please tell me WHAT THE FUCK is going on with this guy?!? Does anyone know?
He is literally our only uninjured, actual Right Back and yet it seems as if Poch would prefer to play Donna Cullen there than him. What is going on with him? Was he, too, on the “Lolita Express?”
It’s mystifying that he gets zero game time. Head case or not, the guy plays Right Fullback. Or am I just imagining this? Isn’t “needs must” a thing?
He was injured in the last international period, had to get surgery and has still had a cast on his arm in every photo of him the club have put out for a few a months now.
They were still hoping to sell him I believe. Took a gamble with Sanchez and got away with it. I bet he doesn’t do it again .Then why was he on the bench (NOT having a go at you mate, I promise- just literally asking)? IOW, he can obviously play if needed-- and I would count "It's either a hand-injured-you-- or Davinson Sanchez-- at RB against Are*nal" as "needed!"
It just feels like there's more to it, but then again maybe I'm just overthinking it...
What an idiot.
Actually feel that he's out best option at RB but if that's what his attitude is like then no wonder Poch is trying every alternative.
Do you feel KWP is genuinely competition for Aurier? I really want him to become the player we hope he'll become this season but is he as good as Aurier? At this time I remain unconvinced.I'm wondering how KWP in particular feels about the "no competition" comment. I also wonder how someone can take the club wanting and failing to sell them as evidence that the club believes in them. His attitude really bugs me.

Let's hope he does and it fires him up to greater things.I think that Aurier is better, the degree to which is obviously debatable (I don't think they're as far off as a lot of people in this thread, fwiw). But even if Aurier is head and shoulders better than KWP, that isn't something that Aurier should say out loud. It's like the Danny Rose "Google" comments: he might be right, but it's disruptive and unnecessary to point out. If I were in KWP's position, I would definitely view it as a slight, intentional or not.
