He isn't a left back. The season Fulham got promoted go and have a look where he played, where he scored his goals and why (supposedly) half of the prems elite were looking at him.
Exactly but he CAN become a good left back if given games and time to learn. He isn't a left back. The season Fulham got promoted go and have a look where he played, where he scored his goals and why (supposedly) half of the prems elite were looking at him.

But he's awful Going forward, never takes anyone on
He’s been forced into a position where he has to play Sessegnon there so we should expect to see nativity and errors because he needs to learn the role. We also won’t see the goals and attacking play which he showed at Fulham when he didn’t have the defensive responsibilities.
Awful, no belief, just a waste of space. Worst signing since Bentley. He's had a full season in the championship amd prem And hes Playing like a 12 year old drafted up to the seniors. Will never make it here
I wasn't sure if this was serious til I read your other post later in the thread.
You're gonna write him off a 19 year old after a few games in his first season with us after being out injured for the whole of pre season/beginning of the season and a managerial change in a team that's struggling?
Come on dude! I get he's been playing within himself but you have to at least give him til he's in his 20s and had a full pre season with the same coach etc before you make such ridiculous statements as he'll never make it here.
Yes he's not tearing up trees with his performances yet but there's been enough glimpses to know there's a player in there. Bayern away when he actually started where son has been playing he did really well, got his goal and then when we lost control of the game due to no central midfield he played a few loose passes and that's when he got told to keep the ball better and since then he's played much safer. He just needs to get his confidence back and be played further up the pitch to push on to better things
Sess is a player who beats his man off the ball with his movement.
The rest of the players need to recognise this.
In fact I think all our players tend to take too many touches and it really pisses me off.
Funny how I wrote my post at the same time as you - arguing the complete opposite. I hope you are right and I am wrong.
They said "Reminds me of Bale when we could never win when he was in the team" which was in his second season (when he was 19, same as Sess is now). That season, Bale got 0 goals and 3 assists in all comps, in 2000 mins of which 24 were starts. Sessegnon in comparison, has 1 goal and 1 assist so far in 600 mins of which 7 have been starts."Reminds me of Bale when we could never win when he was in the team
Bale play as LB was just as bad . He was confused . Instinct was to attack but have to sit back and defend . Sess is facing the same thing now
Think we only see Sess reach his potential once we get a LB
Sess was put in to counter Aarons speed cause Japhet just could not handle the speedy winger in the Watford game
Tactically it was right but with Son in front of him he is never gonna get much help so not surprise to see him struggle"
How does he remind you of Bale!?- who scored three in his first four games or something. Bale may have had defensive faults but he was fast and dynamic. Sess is passive and showing no enterprise etc. Thought he would be much better. Hope he will get confident and transform himself into a player of use to the team.
In Bales first season, before his injury, he was confident and fearless, but in his second season he was timid and nervous, just like Sessegnon is now.
