I think a prem loan would be good for him, but I'm really hoping the Ajax rumours are true. Their history of player development speaks for itself. Don't think ti will happen unless they sell Tagliafico though.

Bale could be exactly what Sess needs the opportunity is there for him to be rotated and learn.

Wolves selling Jota, loan move for them wouldn't be bad for Sess even if he's not Portuguese

They now have marcal, vinagre and johnny in that position, unfortunately doubt they’d need him
Sess can play both wing back and as a winger, apparently Jonny is primarily right back(and injured at this moment) and they still didn't sign any replacement for Doherty. Marcal can play as center back too

I don’t know what a loan does for him though apart from kicking the can down the road for another season. When he returns we will still have the same problem. Is he a fullback or winger, playing a whole season at wingback for Wolves doesn’t really help us with the problem.

Dont think we would get much of a fee since he has basically not played for the last year (same with Foyth).
So unless we are desperate for cash, it would probably make more sense to loan him out.
Either he will prove himself being good enough for us to keep him, or we get a better fee if we decide to move him on.
Bit odd though to already dismiss a 20-year old, who last summer was considered to be a great prospect.

Despite what their chairman said a couple months ago, I think he'll end up back at Fulham for a year on loan.

Parker came out after their game last week and said they desperately need reinforcements and I can't see the chairman blocking a move for Sessengon over pride.

While I get the need for a manageable squad and the opportunity to play regularly. Leaving now negates the Bale effect on him. Training and playing with an icon, who followed a similar path from LB to attacker could unlock his game.

He needs to be playing regular Premier League football, not watch Bale from the sidelines - how is that going to help him? He's 20 years old.

Fine if he actually plays, if he's not going to play though (as we now have 2 LBs, plus plenty of attackers ) its a waste of a year.

He's already played at Fulham's level. Who says he can't get into the team if Son needs a break? Sess on the left, Bale on the right. Seeing Bale in training and having the heft of his experience around the team has got to be a major part of this signing. We need the team to gel and lift its psychology. That doesn't happen if you get shunted to a lesser team. That could break him.

Actually I believe there's two differences here. Fulham in the Championship level is one thing and he excelled at that but Fulham's level in the PL is another and he found it much harder to shine.

We bought him because he'd taken our attention from his time in the Championship, if his PL season was his breakthrough season then I highly doubt we'd have gone in for him especially at 25m.

Which is why I think he needs to drop down and play for a lower PL team to get the consistent game time and start to become a stand out player, gain some confidence so that when he does return he's got much more to show.

Perhaps. But what if it also removes his self belief? The Fulham fans might, in a less effusive way, see him in the same way we do Bale. The love might turn his head and he might decide that is enough. Staying might mean less time on the ball and the pitch, but he would have to press for time and that threat motivates the players above him in the pecking order.

Isn't Bale Sessegnon's idol? Has he mentioned it previously, or am I imagining it?

If so, and me were he, I wouldn't risk missing the opportunity to be in the same team as him. Might be a once in a lifetime/career chance.

What’s he going to learn though? It’s not as if he or any other player hasn’t ever thought scoring thunder bolts from distance, smashing in free kicks, running at insane speed, crossing with the outside of your foot, being great in the air or being tall and strong, aren’t great ideas.

I just can’t imagine Sess is going to watch Bale cut inside, curl one into the top corner and be like “why didn’t I think of that?”

He needs to be more aggressive and proactive when he’s on the pitch. When he gets the ball his first thought has to be to go for it. He needs to be busting a gut to get in the box and score. Instead he looks like we wants to get through a game without making a mistake or losing the ball. He’s timid and plays with fear. I cannot recall a time when he’s actually taken someone on and beaten them with skill.
