We just need him to not come off injured...

Well he's not busting a gut so far. And while he's at the centre of play he is tending to get rid of the ball as soon as possible. Certainly hasn't gone in for any tackles yet.

Just to add. A well taken goal by Nunez.

Happy days he started though.

He will need a good few games to get anyway sharp, he has missed so much football it'll take a while.

He’s got more involved as the games gone on - nice moment where he turned to evade 3 players and nutmegged one of them in the process! Going to sleep now, hopefully he gets through unscathed…

Would be disappointed if Hojbjerg starts ahead of him. Should replace Bissouma.
Gotta be Bentancur, Donley, Sarr for me.

Fuck it just go front foot approach. The game against Wolves was like the worse under Ange and it's because we were so passive in going forward because of the same old players back in the team.

Edit: forgot about Lo Celso. Either him or Donley will be fine. Just no Hojbjerg.

Has probably shown enough to start v Villa now.

I can't imagine the medical team would recommend a player that has been out injured for almost a year to start two matches in such quick succession. Hopefully i'm wrong but surely there is a high chance of reinjury if you take such a risk.

Great that he played pretty much the full 90, but hope he's fresh enough to play again on Sunday for us after playing midweek.

Would love to see a Bentancur, Sarr and Lo Celso midfield (assuming Maddison is still out).

I really dont get the Lo Celso love in. Tine and time again he has failed to live up to the hype.
