Richy out and Kaua Elias in with Jonathan David on the cheap would be smart business and good forward planning - and probably save on wages overall.

Won't be easy to get Richarlison out the door. Main reason being he needs to be fit to pass a medical!

I'm surprised Fluminense are looking at him, it makes no sense at all unless we are letting him go on a free.

I think the only thing that works for us would be allowing him to go and perhaps having first option on this Elias lad like we did with GLC and Cardoso.

Could just be a loan to free up a squad place for us in second half of the season (whilst giving him game time to improve his value for a summer sale and help him get back in the national team picture)

The fact he's posting a bunch of baby spurs gear for his unborn child tells me he's not thinking about leaving anytime soon....

Lets just get the guy fit and on the pitch for the 2nd half of the season and have him help us hopefully win some kind of trophy.

So what is Kaua Elias like @Ghost Hardware ?
Right footed striker that has a good technical base and defensive work rate. Is a CF but can also play slightly deeper as a left sided SS. Has a solid variety of finishing from one touch box poaching to the more elaborate. His first touch needs work but he is well rounded striker. Supposedly he was prolific all through the youth set up. I’ve only seen him in a few games so I’m most certainly no expert here but whilst he has a good base and is obviously talented he is still clearly monumentally raw and inconsistent. He needs to develop his game before thinking about moving from what I’ve seen. This was his first senior season. He’s not ready to be considered even a back up for us imo but it’s clear the boy has a lot of potential.

Right now he needs to play so bringing him in as a 3rd option would do him and us no favours, we could hypothetically loan him but we often get our loans wrong so that could do more harm then good. One of a few very exciting attacking prospects in SA but I’m not sure how he’d fit into what we are building.

He was pretty decent during that 26 minute cameo against Villa to be fair. Fingers crossed he makes it to half an hour this time.

We really need him fit again to rotate with Solanke with FA Cup and EL matches in January plus a potential Carabao semi 🙏🏼

It's pretty shit when you can't get excited about your 50m Brazilian no.9 striker returning from injury isn't it?!
His record with us suggests he'll need a good few games to get back into form and then likely to he injured again

Regarding Richarlison, the information I have is that he wants to stay at Tottenham and try to regain his place. If he doesn't succeed, in the mid-year window, he's willing to reevaluate a return to Brazilian football. But, initially, the idea is to stay there. @GoalBR
