Needs to be replaced in January - but this is Spurs and we'll be lucky do so even in the summer. Will be next to impossible to recoup even half of what we paid, let alone generate interest after 2 years of injuries.

@KURRYMAN in what way is this Off Topic in the RIcharlison thread?

Nobody will give him the wages he'd want, even if he wants to move on. I'll be mildly amazed if he doesn't see his contract out.

What we'd like for him is moot IMO.

What the club would probably like is that he wasn't a permacrock and available for more than about a dozen games a season.

I think the challenge is that if we wait for the end of January - then Richi will be almost back - and then, it becomes a bit less necessary.

And, I don't really fancy our chances of getting anyone in at the start of January.

Realistically, we are probably looking at Odobert back in December, which will give us: Son, Moore, Werner, Solanke, Johnson and Odobert for the festive period and early FA Cup matches in January. Son, is likely to see time at striker, which is not ideal, but its the hand we are likely to play - more so than spending money on a striker in late January.

Maybe another injury changes that - but for now, I can't see it - unless you count Yang.
Or even if we signed another CM then Kulu could cover ST if needed as false 9 but not ideal as Kulu has been our best midfielder this season

Turns out this was his big bucks move before retirement unfortunately, his next move will probably be back home as no one in Europe is going to touch him now

he’ll go back to Everton on a free. Their fans still love him and he often still posts messages on social media about his love of them. To be honest that’s his level, he was never a £60m striker before his injuries, most said it at the time. Just a really odd buy.

Yeah, don’t think Richarlison was a bad signing on ability, he’s just had horrible injury luck since joining. He missed games here and there for Everton, but this run of injuries I don’t think could have been predicted.

Sorry, completely disagree with this.

The fella can barely control the ball at times, his lack of ability is astonishing for a 60m player.

Compare him to Solanke, night and day
