Agree, he was needed to start on Thursday to give Solanke a rest , now Richarlison is injured again and Solankes injury risk goes up.
I'd start Dom on Thursday in a tough away game and start Lankshear next Sunday v Ipswich at home with Dom on the bench just incase.

Sadly time to cut our losses and sell in January or the Summer. Great lad and gives his all, but we just can't rely on his availability.

who the hell is gonna want to buy a guy that’s been injured for 2 seasons at the Daniel would probably want.

You need players you can rely on to be available more often than not. We can't with Richarlison. Great he got an assist today but he pulled up as he made it. Sorry he has to go sooner or later.

Not our choice though if the player wants to stay.

Seemingly not keen on Saudi, which presumably is our only chance to get anywhere near our initial outlay.

was great when he came on, was a risky call from Ange to replace Son for him, that paid off.
Really like Richy, but there must come a point where the club has to decide on whether to sell or not.
He just doesnt play enough minutes without getting some kind of injury, and i say who really wanted him to be a success here.

We need the win in league more imo. 9 points out of 12 in Europe is a v good start and only maybe 4-5 points away from finishing top 8 so I would go weak on Thursday and keep momentum going in league

Anything else would be poor from Ange. Dom's been playing a lot lately and the way he plays is very energy consuming.

Him getting an injury in a non-important game this thursday (we're in such a good position already) would be typical. Let's not tempt fate with this one.

Yeah better to go weaker in Turkey and anything we get is a bonus. We don’t currently have the numbers to go there full guns blazing and we could do with the win against Ipswich more. Hopefully we can get a couple back after the internationals.

Thought he was dreadful today bar his cross. Feel for him though as he’s clearly a confidence player.
He was on the pitch for all of what, 25 mins? Put one on a plate for Dom for us to get the 2 goal cushion we needed and his off the ball work to close them down when the game was still in the balance and a real contest was excellent.

Tough crowd. You want your subs to have a positive impact and he did that.

No. Was not dreadful. He did fine.

We have witnessed dreadful this season from certain players. That was nowhere near that bar. Super harsh, mate.

He was woeful sorry. Was at the game and was right above him. He’s not the required quality. Prior to that cross he wasted several really good chances and either lost the ball or couldn’t pass his man. He looked stagnant and low in confidence.

He was poor when he came on, tried to take his man on unnecessarily a couple of times and got tackled, threw in a couple of aimless/overhit crosses into the box i recall as his main contributions before the assist. A case of coming on and trying way too hard to make an impact rather than pick the right moment. Given that Son was flying at the time of the substitution made it more frustrating.

Did really well for the assist though as given how he'd played to that point i was sure he was going to take a shot on his weaker foot from an unfavourable angle, credit to him for making the right decision. Really gutted for him hes got injured again.

Poor. If you think he didn't do well, then that's the word. Fair play for using it.

Not woeful, dreadful, shocking or any number of over the top language that some people seem to have a fetish for. I think if we considered that, there'd be a bit less conflict between people, the actual meaning of the words we use is sometimes important.
