Yeah he's been rock solid past few games. We as fans need to stop writing players off for 2-3 bad games. The stuff written about Dragusin, then Bergvall etc

Young players need time. Now he's had a run of games he is consistently solid at the back and proving crucial with our CB injuries. Also let's not forget how well he did against Villa earlier in season too.
Has a lovely long pass on him as well.

IMO Dragusin is much better in the air than Dier was & less likely to be bullied than Dier was. Still to be convinced on his distribution attributes but time will tell.

tbh he looks better on the ball the Dier who used to get us in to lots of trouble (with Loris)

We’re not the most physical of sides by any stretch, which is exactly why we need Radu’s strength and physicality. You forget how young he is, yet I’m not worried when he starts for us, despite the makeshift defence he’s tasked with marshalling.

He switched across to the right CB position yesterday to help support Spence and Gray and he did a great job.

I feel this doesn’t get mentioned enough.

Radu is 22. Micky is 23.

The standard they’re both playing at for their age in the Premier League is incredible.

For comparison, Spence is older than both of them, and still talked about like a young player for the future.
Great context!

Yeah his passing does not seem in the same class as Cuti's. Having said that I don't see why he couldn't improve on this. We don't need him to ping 60 yarders to feet every 5 minutes do we ?
No but Ive seen him struggle to play 5 yard passes to the other cb. He did it again yesterday. Just a sideways pass to Gray and for some reason hit it behind gray so he had to turn around and get it.

ive seen him hit a vew long ones which have not gone right but some of them the ideas been good other players are not switched on / a bit over hit but I think he has looked ok we are a bit more directed then when VDV and CR play.

5 year passes if he is missing I'm sure that is a lack of concentration and he will get over it

Think he's really growing into the team and getting great experience that will serve him well long term. So easy to forget he's the same age as Sarr and Udogie.

Thought the back four were all good, although Pedro went through a spell of giving it away regularly, can’t believe we conceded three …….. ah I forgot the goalie, though in fairness to Fraser these are the first mistakes he has made

Radu deserves a lot of credit for the way he has applied himself the last few weeks, as he has had to play every game, and he definitely looks more solid as he has moved up the learning curve, but hardly gets a mention for some reason.

It’s the same situation with the folks who think Ange isn’t good enough. They’ll lie in wait until a fuck up inevitably happens and then be right back here proclaiming he sucks, can’t pass, etc. He’s only 22, playing with players around him that are out of position, 2nd choice or completely sapped of energy due to the circumstances, but he keeps showing up and I think he’s shown a lot of mental toughness despite some tough moments.

Austin can’t be any worse in net. Forster has lost all confidence and composure. Flapping at everything

It's amazing that 18 years old midfielder starting his 2nd league game as centerback is much much better defender than him

Exposed today, some rash moments especially that mistaken charge just before half time that led to their third
