quick? Really....Dragu is better then Dier, dier could barely turn at the end, Dragu is pretty mobile and quick, and reads the game better

I think you're being very kind to Dier, yes he could play the odd good ball, but he played more that were over hit, and the number of times he would pass infield only for it to be cut out happened far to regularly. Dragusin is an upgrade on DierOn that note, does anyone genuinely see him as an upgrade on Dier? I thought we got rid of Dier because of the style of play, and I'd say Dier is actually a lot better on the ball. If we're playing low-block they're about the same, and in this style of play I'm sure he's downgrade...
I don't see it yet. Think Dragusin misplaces more passes personally, kicks them out of touch. Both good in their own box. Dier better on the ball, hence why he was a midfielder at one point. Lost a turn of pace but not sure Dragusin is much faster. I don't rate Dier, and was happy to get rid, just a bit odd to replace with such a similar style of player who isn't much of an upgrade.I think you're being very kind to Dier, yes he could play the odd good ball, but he played more that were over hit, and the number of times he would pass infield only for it to be cut out happened far to regularly. You can't deny against Galatasaray given the choice you'd have preferred Sanchez. I'm not denying Dier or Sanchez didn't need an upgrade just weird to transfer someone fast because they couldn't pass and someone slow who could pass, to someone who could do neither...or neither particularly well. He's not awful. Just an odd transfer. The difference is that Dier was first choice. It's more that we replaced Dier with VdV and Sanchez with Dragusin. I think above all else Dier and Sanchez needed a change of scenery. Neither of them seem to have stayed as consistent as Davies or Son throughout all the manager changes. The feeling at the time was Dier wasn't suited to the high line and Sanchez not suited to playing out from the back. Dragusin looks a bit tidier than Sanchez on the ball but doesn't have as much pace. VdV has a little more pace than Dier.
...his agent was worrying about whether he would get enough games. lol
Radu deserves a lot of credit for the way he has applied himself the last few weeks, as he has had to play every game, and he definitely looks more solid as he has moved up the learning curve, but hardly gets a mention for some reason.
Agree with this - for a CB, in a sense, no news is good newsRadu deserves a lot of credit for the way he has applied himself the last few weeks, as he has had to play every game, and he definitely looks more solid as he has moved up the learning curve, but hardly gets a mention for some reason.
Yeah his passing does not seem in the same class as Cuti's. Having said that I don't see why he couldn't improve on this. We don't need him to ping 60 yarders to feet every 5 minutes do we ?I don't see it yet. Think Dragusin misplaces more passes personally, kicks them out of touch. Both good in their own box. I like him as well. Proper CB.
