He has been. But on the strength of the last two performances, you can see why he’s failed to take Romero’s place, even though Romero has been poor.

Definitely. But there have been plenty of calls for Romero to be dropped for Radu.

If Ange is here, he’s not a fit for the system. Which makes the transfer itself baffling. If Ange picked him himself it’s even more baffling. Not a bad player, but in this system his presence hurts our possession play so much.

Plenty of massive problems today. I didn’t think he was among the top 5 of them.

For such a big guy, I’m surprised at how limp some of his defensive headers are. They often drop at the feet of oncoming opposition players.

Also baffled at his decision to wipe out their player with 98 minutes on the clock.

Any defender looks completely exposed in Anges system, even with a quality CB like Van De Ven we ship loads of goals

Again, only 5 teams have conceded fewer goals than us — and even then, it’s like one less, other than Liverpool. The result was shit, questions need to be asked, but we can’t resort to the same claims from last season every time.

Very bizarre thing for me is he has many of the same qualities as Eric Dier. Really not much difference between them although Dier is clearly better on the ball.

I don’t want to be harsh but why on earth did we sign this guy?! He seems completely outside of the mould Ange wants. One who is great at progressing the ball, another who is great on recovery.

Dragusin is neither. He looks so uncomfortable on the ball and equally terrified when up against pace. He seems like he’d probably be good in a low block defending his penalty box but we’re never going to play that way.

Just seems like such a strange signing and a massive waste of money. Strengthens the need to buy a rapid CB in January.

He has been so disappointing but tbh I don't think he suits how we play, he doesn't pass the ball quickly and he doesn't have much pace.

He's another one who in a more normal tactical set-up will probably look great but defending on the half way line 1 or 2 vs about 4/5 is impossible unless you're Van Der Ven fastest defender ever known.

I mean, we were playing Royal and Davies as our starting CBs that January. We had to get a CB. We couldn’t worry too much about the fit and we got one. Probably hoped he could develop that aspect.
