Love Ange brought him on in a big win like this; hope it helps him to be a better place mentally.
Good man-management. I'm sure he appreciated it, and it meant we could get Micky off the pitch for 15 minutes.

What's the general consensus on Dragusin? Do we see him being around for the long term?

We know he hasn't been given a load of minutes, we know CB's find a groove with a run of games, etc. But something just doesn't feel right about him and I can't put my finger on what it is.

Maybe I had too high of hopes. When he signed I thought he would go-on to replace Romero/VdV before long. I now feel the drop-off with Dragusin is fairly significant compared to what I had hoped.

Is it the high line? the unfamiliarity with team mates? lack of playing time? I've got everything crossed he'll come good, but am starting to have niggling concerns over him long-term.

Im not sure hes strung a run of starts together to even get match fit since hes joined us, if so then barely.

Hasnt had a proper chance to show what he can do yet.

He’s clearly a good player and a good defender but I’m not entirely convinced he suits how we want to play. Looks a bit awkward with the ball at his feet.

Am aware he’s rusty, not played a huge amount and is young so loads of time for it all to come good but I wonder if he might be thinking that he’d suit other teams more and get more minutes.

There's plenty of minutes for him to get over the rest of the season. Getting into the part of the season now where we need the rotation options to be fully up to speed. 5 games in 15 days starting from the Palace game on Sunday. Think it'll help all the squad get up to speed and be better judged after this next period of games.

I thought he was decent, couple of really important blocks, and playing alongside a makeshift cb in Davies

I thought he was decent
It looked like he had his feet on the wrong legs anytime the ball came near him. He’s great when he’s crashing in and going shoulder to shoulder.
When he’s asked to play with the ball, he almost falls over it in an awkward version of events.

We have very different ‘eye tests’ if that was your bench-mark for decent.

It's often about CB partnerships, Lovren looked great next to Fonte at Southampton and shit with anyone else. I have some doubts about Dragusin's playmaking ability but I am never worried about his defensive ability.

Other times he’s looked better on the ball. His passing is generally pretty good at least. His big fumble looked like it should’ve been a free kick, but he certainly didn’t look comfortable out there, nor did Davies.

Also not so strange he looks rusty so little game time.

Defensively he was great. He was almost always in the right place.

With the ball at his feet, he looks below the level we need. Hopefully he gets better but it's a slight concern.

Everyone talking about his ball playing, I see your Radu Dragusin and raise you a Davinson Sanchez

Yeah I worry about his ball playing, just doesn’t look comfortable.

I thought he was a bit slow to come across a couple of times first half and lost the ball stupidly second half which nearly got them in.

He did also make a few nice blocks etc but I do have some concerns about his long term fit here.

He’s a little bit awkward but a few games and more confidence he’ll be a competent back up. Don’t see him forcing himself in front of Romero or VDV

He hasn't really impressed whenever I've seen him (apart from a good game in the Euros) he has a whiff of calamity about him.

To be honest, I'd probably have more confidence in Archie Gray at the back.

His agent needs to pipe down as well until Radu begins to back it up with performances.
