He’s got to be just so excited to be there and to have the primary focus of Ange in that CB group. Huge opportunity for him.

Well, technically you were in at exactly the same moment as the first of the "feels like a new signing" posts... :)
Yep. I wrote it without writing it...

Bumping this up because thought he was very good. If he was bad I'm sure I would have seen this thread on page 1

He's very good. If RM come sniffing around Cuti again next summer, take the £100m and finish the rebuild properly.

Ange doesn’t take any prisoners and after today I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Radu and VDV start our next game.

great to see him today. thought he did really well.

seems less prone to go walkies than Romero, wouldn't mind seeing him and VdV in a pair.

If that were actually true, plenty of times for Son to have seen the bench over the last year - but he makes the starting line-up when fit.

Although I'm sure he will start in europa games with VDV and if he looks great there then he has half a chance to start in league games

Had a good game, but he's the one that leaves both newcastle players onside in their 2nd goal. If we are going to use a high line, he will need to learn this

Isak yes but the pass was to Murphy and it's touch and go whether Romero is also playing him on.

That frame is before the ball was kicked, so there's no way he'd be played on by Romero at the right point.

To be fair on Dragusin though, both Porro and Udogie are running back too. I expect they should all be taking their cue from Romero here but they've not.

It's all irrelevant imo. If we are going to play this high on the half way line. We need to either cut off the ball through at source, or have enough recovery pace that we can outrun the forwards
We managed neither for that goal.
