That definitely wouldn't be my choice, but I rate Dragusin highly enough that I would be comfortable with him as our starting RCB if Romero did move to Real for big money (which could then be spent on a top CF instead of a top CB).

I'm surprised we never tried three at the back in the second half of last season. Udogie and Porro would make for good wing-backs and would be good to have a second CB available to cover when Romero plays aggressively and pushes up to challenge.
Our defence was shit last season but there's a lot of raw potential amongst the individuals. Wasn't too long ago our options were Dier, Sanchez, Rodon, Tangaga and an ageing Alderweireld.

A lot of clubs would have taken note of his performances and will be keeping an eye on his amount of game time he is getting at spurs .
very important that Ange keeps him happy and gives him game time . He is a top defender that is only going to get better .
Who knows Romero might not be here in a years time and he will take some replacing. This lad looks more than capable to step in for him or VDV at any point this coming season

Weirdly if you gave Conte the players we have now we would do very well. At the back at least...
Dragusin, Romero, VDV, Royal, Davies as the options for 3 CBs, Udogie and Porro as wing backs with Vicario behind. It'd be pretty decent.

On paper yes, but we know he didn't want Maddison, and that Romero made it clear he'd leave the club if Conte stayed.

Think he will be an absolute monster at the back. Crazy to think he is 21 and VdV is 22.

Nice! Great to have him with the squad after a strong showing in the Euros. Will be a very improvement player this coming season and offers us strength and aerial ability.
