Totally fine about the fee here as it’s more getting the players out the door and off the wage bill considering Hojbjerg was one of our bigger earners

That being said good luck to the guy who was never found wanting for effort but clearly not the desired fit for what Ange wants in the middle of the park.

Good move for everyone.
Still a really good player in the right system, decent fee for us, lovely place to live and play for him.

Fee seems fine to me for a player we signed for £15m.

Also got to consider the effect of taking his wages off the books.

Indeed we may not have got huge fees for any of our players out so far, but even just taking Hojbjerg, Perisic, Rodon, Dier and Ndombele into account - that’s nearly £600k per week / £30m per year saved.

As I see it, we've essentially recouped our money, which considering what a good servant he's been, consistent and effective at what he does, is more than fair.

Great bloke, hard working, gives his all.

Also the least press-resistant midfielder we’ve had for years and always has a mistake in him, all too often on the edge of our box.

Glad we had him, glad we’ve moved on.

As others have said always 100% professional, gave everything he had for us and played through injury when asked so will never knock him.
After saying that was also responsible for one of the worst decisions by a player I've seen live. New years eve at home versus Bournemouth we have a 3 on 1 break, son is on his left Veliz is on his right. He ignores son and plays it to Veliz who has been hobbling around for previous 10 mins and actually ended up being taken off reducing us to 10 men and the injury kept him out for about 6 weeks. Everyone could see he was injured except Pierre bless him.

He'll be a great signing for them.
Really good player in my opinion but right thing to part ways and perhaps a little later than we would have anticipated.

Absolute model pro. Fee a bit less than I possibly thought it may be, but I understand why.

Wish him all the best.

Good business. Decent player but shame he’s not a fit for the tactics as would have been a great example to the youngsters. Best of luck Pierre
