I saw something earlier, that he gave the ball away 45 times yesterday...

Surely that cannot be the right number?

If it is, there needs to be a discussion, is it that whole right flank thats poor limited options in front of him?
Yep it was true and i heard he has given the ball away almost 400 times this season which is the highest of any player in all the top leagues this season. He is over played and over tired atm so definitely needs to be rested.

Need to keep him doing what he does best and whipping in deliveries. One of the worst players on the pitch against Tamworth but I think he suffers in those chaotic games.

I still think Porro would be better pushed forward instead of Johnson and getting in another RB than can defend. Porro can play wide forward and central in Ange's system so think that makes more sense than having him at FB. Having said that, im not Ange so just popping out an opinion. :)

If i am being totally honest i think rather than him being overplayed as the main factor for his down turn in form it's really got more to do with that poxy beard he is trying to grow.

get it gone Pedro.

I think he was one of the many players who got really distracted by the small crowd and setting and just couldn't settle.

I think he was constantly trying to do too much.

No surprise someone like Archie Gray was really comfortable in the game, useful experience for the team.

Played 120 minutes on Saturday. Has played the full match in pretty much every game this season. He looks spent.

Strong argument to start Reguilon at LB on the weekend to put Spence on Martinelli and give Porro a break. Thoughts?

If Davies is back I'd rather he were there then Reggie.

I though Reggie has looked ok to be fair. He certainly puts in a shift and he doesn't seem to have been massively caught out as yet. Depends on the opposition for sure, I wouldn't want him to start against the scum tomorrow, but in other games, in order to get Porro a rest, I'd be happy with him coming on.

I'm on board with this idea but I doubt Ange will do it

Very concerned that Martinelli will have a field day with all that space Porro vacates

I have to say that if we have a fully fit team, I recon spence might keep Porro out of the team. Maybe it’s fatigue but Spence looks more consistent.

I don't think Spence could have given that long passed to solanke for the bergvall goal but I certainly think they should be rotated depending on opposition

Think Spence might work better will kulu and porro with johnson

I love Porro and think he has been one of our best players recently. I usually love his attitude too.

But never mind the performance, his apparent attitude in the game on Sunday was disgraceful. Perhaps he is as exhausted mentally as he obviously is physically. He looked rattled and so undisciplined in that match.

Stick with him for sure and he'll come good. He's proven his ability. But yeah... i'm not sure about starting him vs Arsenal.

Really starting to annoy me now.

Can't defend for toffee, decent on the ball but then makes too many bad decisions.
