It solidifies your point? Mate if you were waiting for the moment where Gazzaniga wasn't going to pick up an injury, a 99.9% chance that was going to happen then you chose the wrong crowd. Let's simplify it again for you seeing as this seems to register with you.
Was there a chance our only fit senior GK could have got an injury tonight, as he could in any other game?
Did a footballer get a potentially bad injury tonight?
How did that footballer get his injury? Was it doing something Gaazniga couldn't have been doing, something like running after a ball etc?
Could our only fit senior GK have got an injury in a complete waste of time game?
Clearly the chances were slim but if you honestly think it was a completely risk free decision then you're kidding yourself. For me it was the wrong call, we have far more important games coming up than a write off of a game in Munich where I feel Jose got a few things wrong tonight. If Lloris can dislocate his elbow away at Brighton, Gazzaniga could also pick up any kind of unnecessary injury in a game where we can only finish 2nd and they can only finish 1st. Barmy you can't see that even if the chances are extremely slim.
lol you've just repeated what I said in the first place, go and look at my initial posts in the youth thread....you're the one that was making out that it was a huge risk by bringing up unrealistic examples and laughable negative what if scenarios that would generally never happen., all I said that there's the similar amount of risk as him being a GK playing tonight as their is in training.
You can speak in your little condescending tones and straw man all you like, it doesn't make you any less wrong.
Listen to yourself the fact you're still saying it's the wrong call when it clearly wasn't speaks volumes of your argument, it's load of nonsense.
Wow, went full Schumacher there.Has anyone seen what our potential Lloris replacement did today? Nubel - GBH

Definitely doesn't seem a given that Lloris will walk back in at the moment.
Is Gazza better the Lloris?
As a shot stopper, no. But as an overall GK, it's close. Is Gazza better the Lloris?
He's as good and will improve. Hugo has shown no signs of improving for years. Is Gazza better the Lloris?
