Things he needs to improve on

Commanding box in open play
More assertive when facing a corner
Narrowing angle when opponent shoots. He stands on his line too much

However he is an excellent 2nd choice keeper. One of the best no2s in the league

If you know you know...

I am not into uk garage although I did like that funny I’ll bring you flowers song. And Craig David. But I was young and foolish.

That however is a fantastic tune. I’ll probably upset you but it reminds me a bit of Cassius

I feel Gazzaniga's performance yesterday deserves a bit more praise than it's gotten. He did some excellent work. You can't say there were any stops he shouldn't have made, but there were a few very tricky moments he did well with - ball bending in the air, or bouncing just before it got to him. Very easy to mess those up - you need concentration and technique to be fully funtioning to deal with those. No chance with their goal. I'm impressed by him.

Funny though that the ratings thread was blaming him for the goals - including Wilson's free kick

Like any keeper is realistically keeping these out...

So now I've heard someone blames Sissoko for not having a massive head and now others blaming Gazzaniga for not having go go gadget arms, amazing.

It goes to show that the scapegoating happens whether you are a (then) record signing, or signed for buttons!

Think the kid has some quality. And yes in Keeper terms he is still a kid. Still stuff to learn but his kicking in particular is exceptional in general.

Good keeper, but I think we’ll need better to get where we want to be
We need a better #2, or we need someone better than him and Lloris to be #1?

I'm more than happy with him as our #2 and the more he plays the better he will get.

I like him a lot but there are a few bits he needs to work on in my opinion to realise his potential. I’d love for him to end up our number 1, his reflected and distribution are both at a high enough level, and he’s not error prone which is handy. However, he is a very tall goalkeeper, he needs to learn to use that when crosses come in. Similarly, he doesn’t ever catch the ball even when it’s almost easier, and his spills/ punches tend to go back into dangerous areas. He hasn’t been punished yet for this but he will be. Lastly, and I group this similarly with his lack of coming for crosses, it wouldn’t hurt him to zip off his line on occasion, though admittedly it’s less necessary now that we seem to be defending deeper.

I like him and think he could be our number 1, but by the end of this season he needs to improve in these areas. He’s not currently as good as the 25 year old Lloris we signed.

I prefer this geezer to Lloris. That's all I have to say.

That's because there is no substance behind your opinion. There's a reason Lloris is first choice when he's fit, same way he's first choice and captain for France ahead of Areola, Mandanda, Meret, Ruffier, Lafont, Maignan, Lecomte and Costil - Gazzaniga has one Argentina cap - can you name one other Argentinian goalkeeper without Google*?

*Off the top of my head, I'm sure their first choice is Manchester United's reserve goalie.
