People keep making excuses about coaching. He has a brain and it’s full of mush unfortunately. He has zero vision, decision making or positional sense. He’s destined to be sold to relegation fodder.

Last season he was a first choice starter in a team that finished top five, and was excellent.

There's a good player in there somewhere but being a box to box midfielder requires the highest level of coaching and intelligence, arguably the most difficult position to play- and it's hard to argue he's getting that at the moment

Agree.

It’s it a black and white case of whether he has to take responsibility or not.

Young players do have ups and downs and it’s hard to tell at this stage how good he is.

I was very impressed with him for the first half of last season but his performances this season haven’t been good.

Be interesting to see what happens under a new manager and system.

Still think there’s a very good player there. Just needs competent coaching
Conte wanted to sell him bug Ange wanted him to stay and he became a regular starter. Sarr also played a big part at the beginning of last season. I think, he‘s more than other players, someone who needs to start regulary in a team that works.

Conte wanted to sell him? Where did you read that?

After pre-season I felt that he was the starter who was most under threat of being displaced. He's probably now behind both Deki and Bergvall in the squad and I wonder how much that might have affected his confidence.

I really don't think he's that bad. He was cheap and isn't on huge wages. For a 4th choice CM, I don't think we can really complain too much.

To me he’s a punt on a talented youngster and we have enough evidence to say he is not going to be a top quality midfielder so time to sell him on and take a small profit.

Athleticism seems to be his main attribute, but he needs more to really get a position in the team. I wouldn't rule him out until we get a new manager and coaching staff, but he needs to add more to his play.

I'm not willing to write anyone off until we've seen them play under a competent manager. I've never felt like Sarr "belongs" in Ange's system. He has some really valuable qualities, it'll be interesting to see whether a better manager can use him more effectively.

Because of his contract situation I think it's likely Bissouma will be out of the door in Summer, so I'd keep Sarr around for at least another season. Not really for here but I'd also be offering Bentancur an extension.

He started the season well with some beautiful crosses, but then got worse and worse. Not sure yet how good he can become.

Ran himself out of his boots and excellent delivery for the winner. I love his infectious smile. Hope he continues to develop and go from strength to strength

Would love to see his running stats in this. He was every where at one point and disrupted most of their stuff
