I thought Sarr really stepped up another level with Bissouma/Bentancur out. Bodes well for our future midfield.

He is becoming a more serious player.

I’ve been going back and forth over whether he’s genuinely a starting midfield player when everyone’s fit, but increasingly I think he is

I having been saying for ages this lad is an unreal talent. Should be ahead of bentancur and bissouma without suspensions

Brilliant display from the lad tonight.
Strong running, good tackling and good passing.
I know it's only Southampton and they're shit but that was pretty much a perfect midfield display from Sarr.

Would've been my MotM if it hadn't been for Gray, who just pipped it for me.

What a performance from him tonight, he was absolutely everywhere.
I was going to post something like "what a performance tonight, he was absolutely everywhere" and you beat me to it. I sometimes think people miss his work because he floats around and makes running look easy but he always puts in a shift all over the park.

Really stepping up to be a stand out in the squad I reckon.

I imagine you go back to thr beginning of this thread and many would have been happy for him to go etc

Superb yet again

He’s showing something different this season. The passing range and footwork, as well as concentration, is generally much improved. And added more goals to his game!
