Agree.

It was seriously foolish though, and I know he's young but I expect better from him.

I expect better from him because we have the evidence to support that, but some of these reactions are ludicrous.

I’m much more upset at Romero for re-injuring himself doing a stupid flick in our own box which was completely unnecessary, from a much more seasoned professional.

He gets a pass from me as he’s been great and is still young. It was a very silly challenge though and one he needs to learn from.

Bad decisions might be down to tiredness. We hardly rotate. Starting from Roma match (10 days ago) he has been playing 301 minutes. Roughly 75 minutes per match. 10 days. Look at Porro, he is knackered.

Agree 100%

Despite the fact we have Bentacur exclusively for Europa, Bergvall and Gray to cover CM

Then we have Spence and Reguillon to cover LB and RB

You’re more upset at a player for accidentally getting injured (being chosen to play when not fully fit) than another for giving away a completely avoidable penalty?

Sarr has been very good this season, but highlighting a major error is hardly “ludicrous.”

I think he has massive potential, will he realise it at spurs?
thats another question
shame we dont have any warhorse-like dominant midfielders he could learn from, who know their craft and could also come on with 20 mins left and martial a win.
oh wait a second…

Haha PEH was not a war horse? His absence clouds your mind. He was a “warrior” type who shirked his duties, his from the ball and was guilty of letting people run past him. Don’t let the sleeve tattoos and the no nonsense haircut fool you.

He's realising it. He's been pretty good most of the season from what I've been seeing. He needs to cut this petulant behaviour out but he is 22 and I am sure he will.

He'd have been a damn sight better than that fucking waster Bissouma on Sunday evening. PEH proved he was capable last season, not the best footballer but I'd rather him in the squad over Bissouma because he wasn't brainless

God forbid the lad makes a mistake.

He has been one of our best players since getting back into the squad, one horrible decision won’t change that for me.
I’ve watched it back and unfortunately it looks worse than when I saw it first time live. Not only was Palmer going nowhere Gray was literally right behind Sarr.

He’s been great for the most part this season but that was in my view even worse than the Bissouma penalty giveaway.

He won’t want to see this back but he and the the team need to at the training ground behind closed doors .

Gray could have helped him out with a shout to leave Palmer alone as he was well covered by both of them. This is the sort of stuff that Ange and the coaching staff need to be instilling into this team, help each other out be more vocal.

Again more vocals from the defenders to Biss yelling at him not to go in could have averted the other one.

Same with some of the daft things we do when we simply stand around when the corners come in and there doesn’t appear to be enough movement or anticipation of opposition players coming in and heading at our goal completely inside the six yard box unopposed, there seems to be a lack of effective communication in our team.

That’s got to improve.

I know this isn’t all on Sarr and he will hopefully learn but FFS our team need to be more vocal with one another to cut out these daft errors and passiveness at corners. It’s killing us and Ange and coaching staff need to step up instill this into the players much more than they’re doing right now.

Have we just found Pape’s best position……

He was allowed more time on the ball from deep which changed his game dramatically and has the best engine in the team to get back and cover in that position.

Hard to tell as the game was effectively over after 20 minutes. But he did look very assured and took control of those around him well

Would like to see that from him even when he's next to Biss or Bentancur.

Outstanding tonight. He is already very good but he is improving and if he can keep this sort of level up he is going to be a really top class midfielder.

He’s really taken his game up a notch this season. He’s real quality and consistent with it. In midfield, it really is “who should partner Sarr” now.

Probably my favourite player. He has everything, covers the whole pitch, and gets his goals. What a finish tonight.
