Really? Onions as always but he looks like a player without a position to me.

I thought the midfield didn’t really click tonight with Bissouma having to work really hard.
The midfield trio didn’t really look too cohesive today, Bergvall didn’t have a great game, Sarr did some great work but was inconsistent, Biss worked hard but guilty of over doing the running with ball and not releasing it quicker. Too be fair Maddison came on and was no better.

Was poor yesterday. Not really adding anything besides his running. Far off our first 11.

Apart from, you know, the goal he scored last night, and the assist he got on Saturday…

Getting better and better- joy to watch him and his enthusiasm no airs and graces about him.

Still a diamond in the rough but not too far away from being a great player hopefully !

Yep only just turned 22 in September. Not as technically gifted as some of the others but his high level combined with his engine puts him right up there. He is one of our best options at the moment for coming on to close out a game but also had goals and assists in the locker

Imagine him with 2-3 more years experience. Will be some player

Great decision by Ange to bring on Sarr in the 2nd half. His energy and pressing was vital for us and his pass for Son's goal was so well executed.

He had a slow start this season, but he is looking better each game.

His play for Son's goal was outstanding. First the energy to get back, then to win the ball, then to immediately look up and spot the run and execute the pass perfectly. This is the kind of play that will get us a lot of goals. Hit a team before they can get back and defend with a 10-0-1 formation.

My only criticism of him, knowing that he will improve on this aspect of his game, is that he can be a little lax with his 1st touch.

Once he refines that part of his game, he'll be even more impressive of a player. Hope he gets a start vs AZ.

He seems to have gone under the radar a bit of late. Had a difficult spell last season but still so young. Still think he can become a top player. I much prefer the balance with him in midfield. Far better off the ball than Maddison , covers so much ground and has a bit of recovery pace which are key for the way we play.

.At halftime, there were a few visionary fans calling for a Maddison swap-out (and credit to them), some calls for Bentancur (and one lamenting that Bergval is injured) — but not one shout for Sarr.

Ange with the masterstroke.

Good goal, and worked hard, but it was evident that City were leaving him open when we were trying to play out and then triggering their trap when he was trying to control it. He needs to work on receiving the ball in tight areas like that.

If he can improve that aspect of his game, he'll be unstoppable.
