Tbf KWP just isn’t at the right physical level. Think he would have played more if he was. Skipp on the other hand looks like he has the right physical tools just needs to gain experience.
Really? I think Skipp looks tiny as well.

According to Fifa 2020, KWP is almost the same size as Max Aarons who is doing brilliantly in the league

Max Aarons
Height 169 cm / 5' 6''
Weight 63 kg / 139 lbs

KWP
64 kg / 141 lbs
174 cm / 5' 8''

The biggest difference they have is the lack of playing time. KWP is a good player but his lack of playing time has really stunned his growth

I hope Skipp plays tomorrow & plays really well.

Keep seeing Aarons link & I have to say I've not been that impressed with him, but if we want him I'd swap him with KWP & I think we'll be talking about taking him back in a year or two.

have to admit, I just don’t see it with KWP. hope to be proved wrong. i guess like some have said, he needs plying time. perhaps a loan would be best.

where Skipp differs is that although he might not be physically big, he puts himself about and is aggressive in the tackle. i feel KWP is a bit too timid at the moment.

That's not an attitude we can work from, it certainly won't be in Mourinho and Levy's mind.
They'll look for proven players in the january market that can balance the squad we got. Before the last game we were 3rd in form under Mourinho and 3 points off 4th. This is still an open race, our rivals for 4th aren't consistently delivering neither.

No, but are showing no signs of taking advantage when they don’t. Chelsea are back to a big lead again. We are not getting top 4 mate sorry, we are not good enough.

Is Skipp a DM, surely he can't be any worse than Dier, cant we give him a go along side lo celso
Ledley says "he likes a tackle" and you'd think he'd know. What stand out in this video though are his anticipation and interceptions.

I like this most recent peformance against the Netherlands U21, where he shows a good amount of his skill set.

Hopefully Tanganga's good debut will give Mourinho more faith in some of our younger players. I'd love to see Skipp feature in the FA Cup replay and do well.

I agree, time to give Skipp his audition at DM against Boro. I'd put him next to GLC and see if he could provide him adequate cover.

Really like Oliver Skipp
Love hearing that Jose is a fan of Skippy and I hope he seizes the chance when it comes.

It’s complete bollocks that he hasn’t had the opportunity to be involved, though, when JM keeps insisting on dragging the corpse of Eric Dier onto the pitch every other game.

I’ve been disappointed he hasn’t made appearances yet under the new manager so let’s hope this means he’ll soon get a chance

This kid has the potential to be another Scott Parker for us defensively. Not the biggest of guys, but gets himself about and loves a good challenge. He has hunger and bite and the kind of player who would be a nuisance for attackers.

I know Jose likes his big athletic technical players like Eric Dier...

Point being, you have players like Kante, Makalele who aren't the biggest. But knew how to be aggressive and get around the pitch.

Being an ever-present nuisance is an increasingly rare attribute to find in players these days. Skipp seems to offer that in bucket loads and I would love to see what he could do with players like Lo Celso and Ndombele playing around him.

Its really annoying that Jose doesnt try out Skipp and Parrott. All other clubs play their yougnsters once in a while for less important games but at Spurs (even during Poch time) we dont seem to do that
