I didn't watch either but possibly played wing back in a 3-5-2. Honestly though these internationals were basically friendlies.

Sure but it could still be an indication of a system they want going forward. They don't play all random just because it's basically a friendly.

He really is such an awkward footballer. Watching him play at the weekend and he seems like a rugby player on the pitch.

There is no technical ability/poise about him whatsoever. I mean the only thing I can see him being good for is coming off the bench during the last 15 mins of a game to see it out.

We need to sell him asap. He has too many limitations.

Sissolo is a plank. In 53 years of watching football he is the only player I have even seen who from inside the 6 yard box, shoots at goal and it goes off for a throw-in. Incredible. My 90 year old mother has more ball skills. As mentioned above, he is scared of the ball and when he does make on of his 30 yard runs he's clueless at what to do next, often passing backwards 30 yards. Surely us fans deserve better than that.

I've banged this drum before, but if we are ever in a scenario where we need to score a goal, Sissoko should not be on the pitch. Therefore, he should never be starting matches for us.

He is so poor technically it is unbelievable. The amount of times the guy has a poor touch, misplaces passes, and gives the ball away in open space in midfield is shocking. He completely eats space for our attackers and often kills all offensive momentum.

He does have slight utility for the squad, and that is using his athleticism and physicality to cover space and defend. For that reason he should only be on the pitch when we're finishing out a game and trying to defend a lead.

This exactly. He’s not a player I want to lose because he, unlike a few in the squad, has something to offer. But he cannot be starting games and he certainly isn’t a sub to change them.

But bless him, I still love him for the way he turned around that initial terrible season and got POTS.

I think Poch used him to his potential in 18/19, collecting the ball from defense and starting the counter, driving through midfield with his athleticism before squaring to a more creative midfielder. He's a below average passer, his reaction speed seems to be slow, he can't really shoot. We all know he is very bad technically at this point, I don't think he fits into this Mourinho team at all. It's awkward because he seems to be a positive force in the dressing room, not sure he can be sold at his age either. I feel bad for the guy because he seems to give his all every match.

Think he definitely deserves a lot of credit for turning his career around at spurs, but I’ll not be sad the day he leaves.

Ndombele did ok, but the team improved dramatically just because of the upgrade on Sissoko when he came on.

At least for 7 minutes until the feed went.

Perfect example of why we look terrible when he plays, he doesn't even look behind him to turn and see how much space there is to run into, he just one touch passes it to Davies.

Hasnt played a single minute since he was hauled off against Plovdov.

I think that's very promising, it seems like Jose has noticed his shortcomings are too much of a hindrance and that he is completely unable to change a game.

I imagine he'd have played against Leyton Orient and probably against Chelsea but I don't see him making the first 11 as much as previously.

If we could swap him for Brozovic that would be fantastic

We’ve got so many midfielders that I think he’s the odd one out. However I’m sure Jose appreciates his skillset for particular tactical setups against top teams. His power and work rate is definitely useful when we’re under the cosh.

At the moment, we have a choice, Sissoko or Gedson, Gedson is a waste of time if we keep sissoko here

I like him as a squad player, just not in our best XI. Has a terrible touch but he works his ass off for the team and is well liked. He’s put in a few MOTM performances for us.

if a good offer comes in sure let him go but I’m in no hurry to get rid
Brozovicmwould be brilliant ,if not him Sangare

Thats my point, Gedson is a complete waste of a squad place if he has; Winks, Celso, N'dombele, Alli and Sissoko in front of him
Gedson is turning out to be the utility player we all hoped of: he can sit in the centre of the bench, the right of the bench, or be left out of the squad completely.
