Honestly how can you be a experienced professional footballer playing at the highest level and yet he shoots like a amateur. Why isn’t he practicing his finishing in training?
Don't lump us amateurs in with this. I've witnessed countless goals this season in my league that he would have missed. His shooting is comically bad, incredible really. I love the guy, but when he gets ready to shoot I die a little bit inside because I know it isn't going in

I don't think he wants to take those shots on late in the game, but the fact is that there's usually nobody to lay it off to because nobody can keep up with him at that point.

Excellent squad player and has really improved with us, but you can’t have a guy like that starting every week with such piss poor end product. I’m not saying he should be banging in 15 goals a season, but bloody hell atleast we need a player that doesn’t shit the bed everytime he gets anywhere near the opposition box. He does all the amazing work of powering through players, then just doesn’t have a clue what to do next. Don’t get me started on his shooting, probably the worse shooter of the ball in world football.

I wouldn’t mind if he hit it wide or had it saved. The issue is that he can’t keep the ball down and that is a basic football skill.

That's what's so amazing with him, he runs like a mad man through and nobody dares to stop him but puts the ball in row z every time. He lacks what Ndombele got, so hopefully we'll see more of Ndombele soon

We are a fickle bunch... We seem to go from loving MS to hating him!

This guy has his flaws, and yes they are annoying. However, his performances were a big part of the team that got us to the CL final. On his day he is great. He just can’t do certain things very well. Like shooting... ?
Bang on, if he's consistently getting into those shooting positions with no simple pass options around him. Then it's more the fault of the system we play. We know he can't shoot, shooting is not why Poch picks him, he's there to do other jobs.

With debates like this it will always remind me of the shitty way entitled Man United fans treated Carrick when he first arrived. "He's OK but needs to add goals to his game.". When they were sat on the closet thing the prem has had to a Pirlo. It's such a basic way of looking at football, type of nonsense I expect from a Jamie Redknapp.

Definitely challenging Freund for that accolade!

Hasn't been at his last season form, but still breaks the lines better than anyone else imo. His touch isn't too bad, can't pass creatively and definitely can't shoot but has a valuable role to play in our squad still.

Seems that while Sissoko has been helping Tanguy with English, Tanguy has been helping Moussa with this passing game  That pass to Rose was really out of character for Moussa.

dear me, its back to not good enough again, after one 4-0 game. nevermind he played the entire game and started the movement for one of those goals. this place...

Absolutely vital member of our squad.

Peoole can debate the qualities and limitations of our opitions all day long, but the point is we have strength in depth now.

When we're playing a side that will take us on Sissoko is a fantastic option to have. Or if we're trying to close a game out.

A real bus parker and we could look at another midfield combination.

It's all about the squad and the strength in depth we have now.

Think someone didn’t look at the dates on posts made a few weeks ago and assumed they were from this weekend.

I think it fair to say both that he's become a decent option AND that his technical limitations mean that once they're up to speed Ndombele and GLC should be better.

The frustrating thing with Sissoko’s finishing is that it is easily rectified with a bit or practise and a sports psychologist. When he gets in the opponents box with the ball at his feet he just needs to firmly pass the ball to one of the corners ... he should imagine someone is stood inside the corner of the goal and he is passing to them. No leaning back and smashing it. No worrying about where the keeper is. Just without looking firmly pass it into the corner. Practise it for 30 mins every day after training. He’d be a 10
goal a season midfielder in no time!

Just ask him to do whatever he did pre-game when he scored this goal.

I suspect he just closed his eyes and smashed it. Everyone who has ever kicked a football can do that once. We need him to hit the target every time from closer. It just needs coaching and practise. Amazed he is still so poor in front of goal and it’s one of Poch’s coaching teams major failures.
