Agree. New members scrolling through and accidentally clicks a reaction emoji.
That is, on the surface, the most likely explanation and I wouldn't have mentioned it except I've noticed it for more than a year now. It's always a single dislike, it always seems to be a post that's really difficult to fault, and always someone who's never posted before. If it were fat thumbs wouldn't it more likely be an off-topic? I just suggest you look out for it and now I've mentioned it you might see what I mean.

Has anyone else noticed these odd dislikes that seem completely out of place when you read the post. It's always just one (in this case @Blanchflower04) and when you look at the member it's someone with no messages and no points. It happens frequently. Is this some sort of glitch?
The one that gets me is when you post an opinion and someone gives a passive aggressive funny rating. Not sure if they realise how much of an arsehole they come across when they do it. I don't mind if they disagree that's just part of having an opinion but a laughing response is just sad. I guess the dislikes are a negative one and the funny is a positive rating but it just comes across as a dick response to a post. The dislike one on a phone is on the left side so I think that one might be someone scrolling with their left hand and catching that.

With my fat thumbs I often want to give an agree rating and accidently tap the funny rating ... has happened on numerous occasions, where I can change it if I notice it at the time. So that might be an explanation.

I know what you mean. But it's definitely not that. It's a select group of people who always do it instead of neg repping. Usually when you praise the club or give levy credit for anything

I decided some time ago not to give negative ratings because it unnecessarily upsets people. I also decided not to worry about receiving negative ratings because I don’t assess my own self-worth by ratings on Spurs Community, much though I enjoy the site.

Once recently when I received a negative rating I PMed the rater because I was perplexed and it was a fat finger problem. I rather wish though I’d not taken the negative rating at all seriously.

The more of these little clips I see, the more I'm excited by the potential of him. He has that chaotic energy of a young fast winger but also genuine technical quality. The type that with regular playing time and correct development can turn into a top top player.

Edit:

Adding, the chaotic energy aspect will frustrate some, but look at young Messi, young Ribery or young Mane (not comparing quality wise). They all had that chaotic rawness but also elite physical attributes indicative of tricky wingers (ability to speed up and slow down actions at will / shifty low center of gravity and a level of directness and aggression when running at defenders). I see the same raw ability here. Fingers crossed his development goes right because there could be something legit here.
