Pretty much our only player (apart from Kulu) who is not afraid to take on his man.

His cameo today was one of very few positives.

Shocking state of affairs when we're solely relying on a 17 year-old off the bench to create any decent opportunities.

Get him starting as often as possible. I don't think he's necessarily going to be a difference maker but I think it's all about getting him and Bergvall (and Gray to a lesser extent) as much experience as we can.

My frustration is that this kid is showing up our first team and he has hardly any U21 experience

It shows that having a player in the proper position is better than playing someone out of position who may be one of the best players in the league(son)

Frankly ange should have started Lankshear if Richy wasn't fit as he would have done better than Son as a no.9 against 2 of the biggest CB's in the league.

Lankshear got 23 goals in 24 goals in a level above Moore last year and got a goal in the most difficult atmosphere in Europe he deserved a better chance than he got

I'm not sure u21 experience is relevant tbh.

He played u18 last year and wad clearly ready physically for men's football.

Which is normally the main part with the younger ones, some do bypass that that level, not many, but some.

And he is just 17.

We need to think long-term here, and not simply about this season. That is a weight that no 17 yo should face.

He should start some, and come off the bench some.

Long term he won't be with us so it won't matter

Edit.. it was a joke people

Yep, I hate the thought of throwing a 17 year old in and having to rely on him but our other options are so bad, we don't really have a choice.
He's the only winger we've got who can keep and use the ball.
This.
Still.

And yeah I'm quoting myself because...fuck you! 😁🤣

Glad he got an assist, hope he gets on the scoresheet soon (says captain obvious).

Wont cover our massive issues elsewhere in the team, and shame Udogie is out and we don’t really have a second choice left back Mikey could develop a partnership with, but you feel that at least he knows what he is doing. So many of players don’t seem to have a clue what they are going to do with the ball until they have taken three touches and have two players harassing them

Kinda weird how he wears his socks during the games though. 😱😱

Very pleased for him. Well deserved for everything he's done so far this season. Only the first half against Palace has he looked out of his depth, which is saying something with being thrown in a struggling side.

Delighted that he's off and running. I think it's been hanging over him a little. He fluffed a good chance before it.

Was a lovely goal actually. Hopefully the first of many. Crazy he's only 17. Really growing into men's football.

Loved watching him drive at their back line with total control and speed. Exactly what we've been missing.
