Throw him in from the start against Alkmaar.
I’d like to see him start on the left, but suspect he’ll get more minutes on the other side where we are quite thin squad wise.

Today would have been another good experience for him. He tried to make things happen but ran into traffic a couple of times and lost the ball cheaply once or twice too. But he looked lively and once he gets going I suspect he’s going to be an absolute monster.

I don't quite understand how this has gotten disagrees..

If he wasn't as physically built, he wouldn't be suitable for first team foorball, yet he is physically capable for it... even Ange said as much to the press.

One of the most physically capable le u18's last season, reminded me of a rooney type physicality last year.

Because the aesthetics of looking built have nothing to do with conditioning agility, explosive strength / acceleration, stamina, and the flexibility required to perform whilst mitigating groin and lower body injuries.

All of which have to be carefully developed in perfect balance or you will damage their development and long term careers.

Rooney and Owen good examples. Both overplayed whilst still developing and past their peak by 25.

And the game is more athletic and intense now than when they started out.

He isn’t a genetically gifted athlete so we have to be careful with him and not overload his minutes.

Star in the making. Exciting time to be a fan with him, Archie and Lucas Bergvall. Vuskovic is another that might tear up trees.

He has really outstanding dribbling ability and appears to have excellent vision as well. He is the most exciting talent we have had come through the academy since Kane.
