I don't think the ball from Romero did him any favours being floated and bouncing, but he should've done better and we paid the price for it.
He let the ball bounce numerous times during that game, although I agree it was a stupid pass from Romero in that instance. Again though I'm sure for Argentina he's told in no uncertain terms to clear his lines in that situation rather than try to force a lofted ball across the six yard box in order to try and play out.

We do that too much, all over the pitch. I hate it. But we also just stand and watch while teammates are under a dropping ball, instead of moving to support, or challenge for the second ball, which doesn't help! It feels as though the players are told to stay in their designated zones, and not be drawn towards the ball, which is great if we do win the ball, not so great if we lose it.

It was an awful cross field ball, plus the low sun was right in Micky’s eyes which didn’t help his cause at all and most likely contributed to the awful touch.

The ball from Romero wasn't good but one of Mickeys weaknesses is getting his body right when on the ball. It's no the first time he's pondering on it. He took way too long on the ball and could, and should, have moved it before it became an issue.

Don't think we need a medical report just have to look at Micky's face as he came off last night to know he will be missing a few matches.

Agree, although I was sitting near Timo when he went down and he looked worse
Micky probably not as bad as when he went down against Chelsea last season but when players do this it's normally bad.
