Anyone seen this? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c51nzggvxjdo

Vote for your teams players of the season out of 4 choices..

Micky isn't one of them.. (n)

When you look at that and see the have put son Vic romero and porro you realise what potential we have

It's hard to not include any of them

Son 17 goals 9 assists
Porro played the most of any outfield player and consistent
Vic for his passing and shot stopping
Romero for his leadership

he is you know!

It’s funny to think that in a season where we have conceded more goals than in virtually any other season during the last ten years, but also have scored more goals than the majority of seasons over the last ten years, that most of our favourite players are defenders. Probably a lot of fans would have Vic up there too.

Of course I understand why that’s the case, but it’s an interesting quirk.

im ok with this! Let Micky stay under the radar, be a star for us quietly, and away from the prowling eyes of the likes of Madrid!

They’ll know about him, especially if he has another good season. I think the main problem is when the speculation ramps up, the player’s head is turned. We saw it with Modric and Bale. Kane also, to a lesser extent. When that interest from an elite club is out in the open, the player’s relationship with the club seems to change.

Not watching, but seems he plays left back against Canada at the moment, and doing well according to the stats.
Will be interesting to see if he's a starter for the tournament and in what position. Guess Aké and Dijk are certain starters.

Just like Vertonghen - playing LB for the national team

Ake has played there too.
So I could see them interchanging if a quick central striker is playing .
Ake seems to be more agile which would suit against tricky wingers.

Could be a very sharp learning curve for Mickey though if he plays the whole tournament at LB..

I'm sure he'll smash it wherever he asked to play.

Doesn’t look much like him in the picture though.

My husband was in the barbers yesterday and an arsenal family were saying how they were going to buy Micky and that we had messed up with N’Dombele. The latter is true but fk knows why they are talking about signing Micky. Maybe there are some crazy rumours on their side.

They even said he’d be on their bench 😂 this was all after he said they’d bottle the league twice (he is Chelsea) the last extra weird thing is rather than talk about the chances in the league they were more keen to say “well we’ll finish above Spurs” lol obsessed much. 😂
