Can only hope he can be ahead of time line like how Bentancur did, especially with his age he can recover faster
I could live with that if it's true. We have an international break in between to factor in, so if he's back Jan/Feb i don't think that's too bad.
I tore a hamstring and I heard the POP, but its not way loud enough to be heard in a stadiumThe hamstring going. I've seen comments from people saying they heard it which seems crazy to me inside the stadium with all that noise.
My achilles snapped whilst playing Badminton, I thought a string in the racket had gone. That was quite loud on the loud injury scale!I defer to your sound knowledge but I've heard someone's hamstring snap whilst playing football myself and it was scarily loud. I couldn't believe how loud, actually.
So, as expected, until official medical results are in nobody knows? Colour me shocked. People were saying City away yesterday, now United away today. The body of Matt Laws article screams guesswork .
“Tottenham fear Micky van de Ven is set for a lengthy spell out injured, despite hoping he will not require surgery.
Estimates suggest Van de Ven could be out until January at the earliest, although Tottenham are yet to put a firm timescale on his return and delayed an initial scan.”
We’ll need to see what Ange says in his pre Wolves presser.
Didn't Richy go so far to deny that he was injured and that surgery would be required at some point?Bit unfair on the med team this. Usually they advise by giving out all the information they have available regards prognosis and timeframes etc and it's always the player who makes that final decision. You'd be amazed how many of them will avoid surgery with very small odds of recovering without, in order to play on in the short term. Richalisson is a prime example.
It's just a shame that his first games will be without Romero by his side instead of Dier.Technically we did sign another centre back. He's just 18 years old and we have no idea how well he can do or if he's ready. I guess the only way to know is to try him. I remember when we were without Romero for the end of the 21/22 season and we were concerned. In the end we finished the season strong, kept some clean sheets and got 4th place. I'm not a big fan of Dier but he's not the worst player to have alongside Romero. In the meantime I hope Phillips gets a few games even if we just tell whether he's ready or not.
Pardon - sorry couldnt hear you over the racket of the spleen of the bloke sitting next to me at workLOL at the numpties saying they heard his hamstring
Banjo string? Can we stop talking about the sound that body parts make when they snap, please? Making me feel queazy and bringing back bad memories of my teenage years ......
well its usually just under the buttocks so you're not far offYeah, personally I'd file that under utter bollocks.
It was a gamble, but I'm still fine with it for the following reasons. To then let Sanchez go AFTER the deadline without being to replace was a massive gamble and it's blown up in our faces.
