He’s the main one I’d want us to sign this summer. Doubt he’s want to come back though, or whether Mourinho would want to play him
Would love him back but really can’t see it happening. Seems to have really developed now that he’s actually playing first team football. Another victim of our shift away from giving youth a chance in the past half decade, something we were so good at before.

Was disappointing to see the limited opportunities he was afforded in our team. I would have liked to see him get a few more sub appearances for us at least and some cup appearances. Probably been mentioned already but I would hope that if we have any clauses as part of his sale that we make use of them.

We lack bit of magic and flair from the wings and he is that

Under the right manager and in the right system I think Edward's would be brilliant for us.

That manager isn't Mourinho or his system unfortunately.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Bundesliga next season.

Deco, Robben, Sneijder, Ozil, Oscar, Hazard and Mata(at united)

Mourinho whilst famous for his hardworking teams does have his flair players and that's not including people like Ronaldo, Di Maria and etc. who also are hard working as well

I like Edwards but I don't think you can compare his situation to any of those players on your list.

I hope I'm wrong as I think he has still got huge potential.

vitoria turn down 10m + 50% sell on from sporting.

i've just been doing some digging around and saw some article which refutes the 15m release clause which was widely reported at the time, though spurs do still have a 50% sell on. if that's the case then we might end up doing better out of this deal than we originally thought, especially if he stays and builds on his form from last season.

Started slow this season but very well taken goal. Feinted shot and control and weakfoot volley finish.

Most times clubs are used as a stepping stone for players to achieve their full potential. Clearly Edwards moving away from Spurs was the right thing for his career.

Not like Marcus Edwards to talk to the media much and I will always stand by that Marcus Edwards is not a bad person and for me Keanan Bennetts was a hell of a lot more worse than Edwards ever was at Spurs.

Edwards should move in the summer the team he is at now are not very good this year and it would be the right time for him unless he himself is happy and wants to stay.

Think his new contract has a 50m release clause so that will have bumped up any asking price for Vitoria

Marcus Edwards was on the bench again in Vitoria SC’s 1-3 loss at home to Río Ave.

He was kept out of the side by another ex Spurs youth player, Ruben Lameiras.

We need a RW and are in need of homegrown players. Why not bring him back and play him? With the 50% sell on we can get him on the cheap too. I hope the club are giving it serious consideration.
