A song for him when he’s put upfront as a striker
He’s just a shit Jermain Defoe. Shit Jermain Defoe. Shit Jermain Defoe. He’s just a shit Jermain Defoe.

I keep saying it - he's a slightly better version of Andros Townsend. Ive got nothing against him but he doesnt have many tricks up his sleeve.

What made you think I want to defend Moura or his performance today. I just find your behaviour hypocritical and exactly why this place is becoming more and more unbearable.

Dele has been poor, I stated that, thing is the criticism was ott, so I dug my heals in and took it too far. There is criticism and then there is just straight up rubbish typed. It happens with all players on here and now is happening with Jose.

People have their favourites, but people can't strike a balance.

You know how far it went the other day? When I was told Dele isn't a midfielder. That's like me shouting about Moura and his finishing ... He isn't a natural striker is he?

Best you lump it, and think of Nielsen and Falk smirking at one another. That's all I'll do from here on out in regard to opinions on players.

Well played, and I do have sympathy for that position. A better balance does need to be achieved on here but it's the internet their is always going to be NPCs that give shit takes.

I just find the focus on the ott criticism takes away from the genuine footy chat that does go on here. Cheers I hope the rest of your weekend is more pleasant.

It was a clever pass to find Lamela for the goal.

He's better operating from deep. As the most advanced player he just gets marshalled to easily. He has a good shot, decent in the air, pretty clinical when the ball comes his way in the box. But as a CF he has no hold up ability to play with his back to goal. Drop him deeper so he has more space and more width to dribble with the ball. That's what he's known for.

Imo Moura will be so much better if he were running onto balls in space attacking the goal. Once his stationary and balls played to him, his first touch for a Brazilian is pretty shocking... He is an explosive players in the right conditions

Is he good at dribbling? Just seems like he's running after the ball after he's heavy touched it

he is maddeningly inconsistent. see his second goal of the semi-final for incredible control at speed in close quarters. that will show you what he has in him. Look at any other game and his third or fourth touch is often as subtle as a sledgehammer

Yeah. I think the problem is if he has any time to think. He's really a total individualist who can do brilliant things off the cuff but in terms of intelligently linking up with team mates it's basically not going to happen. And his technical ability seems to desert him once he has any time to think about what he's doing.

Watching Moura makes me puzzled! He's supposed to be quick and looks quick but players we think of as much slower always beat him to the ball?

he isn't using his strengths well enough imo he needs to be on the run when he receives the ball

he isnt cut out to be the main man, at all. kinda the story of our team at the moment. We have a lot of guys who are better than average footballers who do great when the team is humming along. a few key injuries and the weaknesses show.

Im not slating anyone, btw.
