You would hope so, but they played together there in preseason, so you never know.
I think Bentancur, Bergvall and Kulu would be my preferred midfield for the first game.

Yeah, that's quite possible too. I'm pretty certain Solanke will start as the striker and Kulusevski will start somewhere, but not sure where.

If you knew nothing about our players and were watching our preseason games as a complete outsider you’d say Bergvall was one of our key players and surely a starter. I actually thought Maddison had a few nice moments yesterday and will probably start against Leicester but he’s going to have a hard time keeping his spot. Also think Sarr hasn’t quite been at his best yet and Lucas also offers similar industry and ability to win the ball off an opponent. It’ll be interesting to see how it all shakes out but I think Lucas is going to be very involved all season.

Love this guy. If we play him at 10 he can help lead the press. Hes clever, can second guess what the opponent might do, nick it or steam in. But he can also then play a killer pass. I like he's keeping it shorter and simpler, listening to Ange. The videos of last season showed him hitting Hollywood diagonals.
It's great we can hook Maddison on 65 and have this kid do a bit of everything when he comes on. He can replace Sarr's energy as well once he's run his race.
After six months max Sarr won't be a starter.
