His highlights are already up on youtube from the Korean game

I would have zero issues starting him next season. Honestly, no concerns whatsoever. The guy is class. Technically, physically, temperamentally - at under £10m, he's a preposterous steal.

What a signing

Give him plenty of minutes this season and he'll really kick on. Very excited to see how he develops over the next couple of years.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't THAT impressed with him at Djurgården this year. It was obvious he was talanted but thought he was nowhere near being ready for our first team yet. Very happy that I was wrong.

For me - biggest things he needs to work on - his work around the box. Needs to be more of a goal threat. Right now - he is PL-ready for a box-to-box role. He will be world class when he adds that goal threat.

Good news is - he is 18, and is likely going to get a lot better - but he'll have to work on it.

Posted in the game thread but really deserves a mention in here. "Bergvall continues to impress. The two big question marks (at least for me) was given his age, how quickly he would adapt to the speed of play and the physicality as the competitive level increased. It doesn't seem to have phased him a bit. The kid has shown loads of presence to date and i dare say may become a special player."

Sounds very promising and I haven’t seen any pre season (fitness training/sessions!!) but they are just that and have very little relevance to when the proper stuff kicks off

Should start the season imo. At the least if Madison/Sarr can't step up as the 10/8 duo against Leicester we should bring him in as a starter after that.
