Despite being a big advocate for him I thought he'd struggle initially, but he's been absolutely stellar so far. Not the finished product by any means, but his ability to turn and beat his man, play the pass, and move the ball quickly is phenomenal. So good physically as well.

Not sure he'll be starting against Leicester but I'm becoming increasingly confident he'll be starting regularly at some point during the upcoming season.

I'm impressed with him physically. I know he conceded a foul, but he wasn't fearful putting himself about. We really do have a bright future and present with him and Gray.

Watch his highlights of today's match and to me he seems a taller version of Modric. Instant ball control and the ability to make quick intelligent passes. Going to be great watching him develop.

He is so comfortable receiving the ball under pressure and turning. At such a young age that exciting to see

Incredible control and willingness to get stuck in. Going to be a real handful next season

He’s got as much in common with Modric as he has with Kane! He’s basically a right-footed, Scandi Lamela, he wants to be a flair player, but he’s happy to put the effort in too and has a bit of edge to him. He’ll be a crowd favourite as much for the marks he leaves on the opposition as for his goals and assists. Me likey!

You have to grow up pretty quick when you start playing men's football at 16.

Good to see the inner child in Lucas when he walks out to Son-mania in Seoul.
