Mate neither is jumping on every little rumour on social media and posting them in here with the line "Jesus wept" like they are credible sources. "Apparently" or not.
It's a thread to discuss the player, he went off after sitting down holding his hamstring, the Jesus wept would be just our luck

i'm hardly spreading rumours he's goosing the bosses Mrs.

Ange said "everyone got through it", which is encouraging.

And, specifically about Bergvall, "a bit sore" and Ange doesn't think it's anything significant.

It will be drilled into every player in pre season, NO RISKS! If you feel anything go down and straight off. No point taking chances in games that don't matter.

I was at the game and he reached for his hamstring when he went down. Let’s hope it is just precautionary because I thought we lost a bit of control in the first half when he went off. He looks a player.

Those grown man Lols aren't the one Trix.
Nor is regurgitating shite from Twitter.
He may or may not have done something to his hammy but your original post does nothing but feed doom and gloom, which granted, some on here seem to love.

Point is that nobody knows anything at the stage you're making such statements.

So yes, discuss the player but let's not feed rumours from dubious sources (or no sources at all) because that never goes down well in here.

He was holding his hammy and came off shortly after, it is hardly some nefarious rumour and considering our luck with hamstrings last season its a throwaway post.

i just read it and commented in his player thread, not sure why posters feel the need to police threads over here, its becoming a bit precious.

yeah spreading libelous rumours that can get the site in trouble is understandable but footballer goes down injured and fan speculates on said injury is ridiculous.

You clearly don't understand it's how you've worded your post, more so than the content. It very much reads like it's more than just speculative throw away rumours by nobodies on the internet. It reads like they have come from somewhere of substance by the way you have phrased it, and by your dismay at this happening. Had you have added what you wrote in your second post into the first it would have come across very differently. A lot of us watched him go down and walk off without really showing any sort of a limp whilst holding the back of his leg, so when someone comes in saying they've "heard he's done his hammy.. Jesus wept" it was at the very least a massive leap based on what happened, and at best inside knowledge of the injury that could have been from a journalist for instance at the game.

I'm not sure about all that mate.

i said "done his hamstring apparently, jesus wept"

not sure why anyone would infer that it is insider knowledge when people in the ground and all over Spurs social media were saying he was holding his hamstring and was taken off shortly after.

it is Spurs community though and people like to deep dive in to every statement made.

it was a throwaway comment about a player in his thread who had an injury i didn't get the game so was going off what people in the ground and online said, nothing more or less.

There is no arguing it, it's subjective. I'm just telling you how it came across, and clearly not just to me.

We will leave it there.

Looking forward to seeing this guy play - very self assured vs QPR. Looked above that level. Straight into the squad for me, could do a better job than Bentancur and Sarr in creating from a deep lying CM role or come in as an AM instead of Maddison in Europe

Of course we need to wait for the scan and I really hope he's ok for the tour. I would say if you walk off it's not going to be that bad. Similar to VdV the 2nd time where he missed only a couple of weeks. The bad one against Chelsea he was in agony so I doubt Bergvall will be that bad.

Absolutely. Wait for the information and don't do anything silly and rush anything.
