Here's a take. He actually reminds me of Modric. He rides tackles that should take him down and he finds those angles with the outside of his foot that most players don't even attempt. He will be with us for 3 to 4 seasons and he'll get signed up by Real Madrid for 100m.

Having said that the defending in that clip was really weak in the players he's up against and half of those clips would have ended in a tactical foul had it been in the Premier League

Yeah - I don't know where he ends up long-term - but I think this season he will split time in the box-to-box role, and higher up the pitch in Maddison's role. There is less defensive liability in those positions as he gets up to speed.

But, he is a pretty big lad, and he could still end up as the more defensive midfielder in a couple of years - once he is accustomed to the pace and strength of the league.

I'm sure I read recently that he'd played a deeper role of late and enjoyed it.
Of course we have to temper our expectations and not expect too much too soon but he seems to have it in his locker to become a very versatile midfielder, either deeper, in a more attacking role or somewhere in-between.

Which appears to be exactly the sort of player Ange wants, to get away from the whole 6 and 8 idea that A&C loves so much.

Not sure if this had some significance. Was a bit odd, as nothing has been agreed in terms of Lo Celso's departure.

If not I would guess #15.

I think this day was definitely part of his decision making back in January.

Do I want to walk into an English speaking dressing room with Kulusevski as a mentor or do I want to go into a Spanish dressing room with most players my age having played together for years in La Masia?
