To add to the 10 vs 8 discourse; I don’t think he has the athleticism / physicality to be a Premier League box to box player. I can’t see him developing into that sort of player either.

He’s already showing he has nose for the goal and the eye for a pass. I like the idea of him occupying the spaces Maddison does. He definitely seems more ready to slot in as a Maddison deputy to me. Candidly I don’t know how you can watch both players and not draw similarities.

I personally think he looks more of an 8 than a 10. He carries the ball up the field really well under pressure.

Looking forward to seeing him in the Europa 👌🏻 Wouldn’t surprise me to see him break into the first team, before the end of the year.

Don't want to put on too much pressure and expectations, but him and Moore could really dominate our team the next 15 years.

He added some muscle mass this pre season, especially in his legs. He added around 8 kg of muscle mass (17.6 pounds). So he is not a pushover and can play box to box. Ever since he made a name for himself, other players have tackled him harder than they used to. And he can handle it.

But we still need to have some patience. He plays in an inferior league. So it will take some time to adapt to the speed. But I think he has the attributes to be a very good player.

He looks like a man amongst boys in that league. I'm fairly certain he is already good enough to be a Premier league standard player. Just how good he will be in that context time will tell, but this is definitely an exciting prospect.

That’s 2 MOTM performances in a row playing in a deeper position.
His long passing can be a bit wayward it seems but I like that he's got the vision and confidence to give it a go.
He seems to be the type of player that can play different roles in the midfield quite comfortably and at 18, that's quite a feather in the cap for what Ange wants.

I don’t want to overhype him but christ, his technique is bloody beautiful. We haven’t had a player in our midfield like that for absolutely ages. Probably since Modric and we need this sort of player so badly.

No pressure, lad 😅

The only thing that can stop him from being a top player is if he can't adapt to the tempo of international football (especially in the Premier League). Because he got the techinal ability and the movement (both with and without the ball). But as I said earlier, lets have some patience. He's just 18 and plays in an inferior league. He will move to a new country and that means a lot of changes, even if Sweden and England is not that far away from each other when it comes to culture etc.
