He also said Deki just had a knock...
People keep saying this but he didn't.

He said "It looks like a knock at this stage, but we're going to let it settle for 24 hours, then assess it. The initial thought was that it's more of a knock than anything more significant."

I think he did. Listened to an interview with Ange aired on Last Word on Spurs podcast. Think he actually said it twice. Asked about it he said «he should be ok». The reporter asked again and asked spesifically about him being ready for the final and he said again «he should be ok, yeah». 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lucas has zero goals and one assist in the league this season.

Lucas is also my Spurs POTS. He has been outstanding.

I draw certain conclusions from these facts, but if I speak, I'm in trouble. Big trouble. And I don't want to be in trouble.

Everyone laughed when Chelsea wanted Luka Modric because he didn't score and didn't assist tbf. Not really his role.

Maybe controversial but if you told me we could have one of Bergvall, Maddison or Kulusevski fit for the final, I'm going Bergvall all day long. He ran our midfield.

Well deserved player of the season, a great career ahead of this lad and I hope it's with us.

To think this lad looked so lost away to galatasaray, didn’t then feature for a bit and on his return was absolutely brilliant and was our best midfielder. He’s destined for the top

Absolutely a no brainer, Madders is inconsistent at best and Deki’s form was outstanding first half and fell off a cliff the second half the season

Sorry but that’s such a bad take. Lucas has shown potential but he has yet to influence how we play or provide moments that turn games on their head (and I don’t expect him to at this stage). Maddison has shown plenty of times for us that he is the difference maker, even if he can be inconsistent (can you blame him in this team!?!)

At times, especially in the second half of the season, it's felt like we can only play coherently at all with him in the side, because it gives the entire midfield 200% more nuts and urgency. I personally think he's absolutely been able to influence how we play.

Give me Bergvall 10 times out of 10 for what he did this season. He was a consistently better all around midfielder than Maddison this year.

Bergvall’s play elevated our whole team effort when he played. Maddison was occasionally good in attack, but nothing in defending or pressing.
