What an outstanding performance. He was everywhere defensively, and somehow managed to control the midfield single-handedly in the second half.

Love his tenacity. Only (extremely) minor criticism was him refusing to cross when he instead passed to Porro.

Really good tonight and I continue to be so impressed by his overall improvement over the last couple of months. I expect to see him starting from now on.

Damning for both Bissouma and Sarr (in particular) that Bergvall was miles and miles and miles ahead of them two put together.

He has the ability on the ball those other two could only dream of.

I have massive massive reservations about Sarr, I truly don’t think he has what it takes to be any more than just a mid table midfielder.

Lucas on the other hand, has every single attribute including the desire to work hard. Well played young man.

Kid is class. Actually reminds me of Odegaard in many ways but I think he has a higher ceiling. Won't be here for long if we don't put players around him.

Absolute quality performance tonight, closes space well, moves the ball quickly, always has a picture of the pitch in his head, great buy. Looking forward to him developing next season

The one obvious counter to that is that Ødegaard sees and executes passes that very few players in world football can. Bergvall has every other attribute you’d want from a player in his position.

Watch the way he covers the full backs and explain to me why Bissouma, Bentancur and Sarr are all unable to do similar. This kid has that intangible quality, on top of his many abilities on and off the ball. We need to nurture it.

It’s an indictment on the more experienced players in the squad that a 18yo is showing them up for attitude and work ethic.

Need to get as many games into him and Gray in midfield and get rid of the fodder like Bentancur, Bissouma and Maddison.

Was he as good as Odegaard last night? No. But the fact that at 18 years old he showed more fight, backbone and influence on the game than all of his midfield and attacking team mates put together says a lot about him, and those teams mates as well.

Levy knows this and it’s music to his ears, because he won’t put players around him.

Bissouma and Sarr both shown up,l by an 18 year old, yet again.

I don’t mind if a player is technically better, and Lucas is miles ahead of both Sarr and Bissouma put together, but he showed more fight and understanding of the game in 2 minutes, than both Sarr and Bissouma did in that entire first half.

They were both pathetic, Lucas was magnificent. A massive bright spark in a sea of shit.

Been worried about Sarr for a while. Technically he is average and he hasn’t really improved at all if anything gone backwards.

Cant wait till Gray, Bergvall and Kulusevski become our main midfield.

That is definately something to pine for.
Kulu in particular really needs a break, hes playing like he is running on empty at the minute
