Sky Sports transfer centre stating "Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a right-back as a top priority and with Tottenham eyeing a move for Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon, Trippier could be made available."

What incredibly lazy journalism, what would signing Sessegnon have to do with whether Trippier is available or not as they play on opposite sides??

I know it's crappy sky sports, but still it's just so well... crappy...

Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti has made an offer of between £15.5million and £17.3million for Trippier.

Trippier, who is likely to start against Ajax to night in the Champions League semi-final, first leg, has made 34 appearances this season and is currently first-choice for Mauricio Pochettino.

However, Pochettino has 22-year-old Kyle Walker-Peters emerging and has been tipped to listen to offers for 28-year-old Tripper with the Evening Standard claiming he will be one of 12 players axed this summer.

Not to mention the resulting need to bring around half a dozen in, if not more. Half a dozen in, that's like 10 transfer windows worth :D

How are we meant to afford half a dozen transfers when we've just had to pay for the lads to travel to Holland ffs.

He was easily England’s best player at the World Cup. I can’t work out how his confidence (and therefore his output) has dropped so severely.
He looked good for England because the opposition were Conference level at best
Against any sniff of quality his glaring limitations are there for all to see,. He's fucking garbage

Tonight needs to be his last in a Spurs shirt. His individual errors have cost us numerous points and now a CL match. He is awful and a mistake waiting to happen at the moment. Foyth or KWP going forward please.

Oh, are we blaming the goal solely on him again?

The goal was completely his fault for playing Van de Beek onside.. Gave the ball away 28 times. Most important position to upgrade ahead of next season. Foyth should start next week in his place.

I'd pay for his flight to Manchester.

I suspect if there is any truth in the Napoli/man Utd rumours (which I very much doubt) I think we'll have to pull a name out of a hat as to who drives him.

He was tracking Neves' run and the guy was a fraction on with a massive gap to play though...Dele pressuring the wrong player also had a hand in the Ajax goal.

If you want to vent about some players, two of them have massive reputations, play in midfield and were absolutely fucking terrible tonight.

Most tackles in the team and key passes for Tripps in his time on the pitch, but sure ignore that so you can have a good old fucking whinge because we were narrowly beaten by a side that have put out two massive clubs already, who had a full week's rest and are pretty much at full strength...while we're at bare bones.
