So, two international friendly matches, the second one he only lasted 77 minutes of and he is match fit for the Premier league? You know what our fans are like, if he performs anything less than 100% (Lamala not blocking a cross...) then he is jeered and branded shite. We have a long pre season so players are able to be sharp, not just a couple of friendlies.

I would expect to see him play next week at Everton as he has a full week with the squad.

Stop making excuses the guy is fit, certainly fit enough to play against a poor red star team...there's just no excuse anymore.

I wonder if Poch is regretting the right back experiment in the sense that he would actually rather use him as a centre back.

His national team buying into it has kind of set him on a career path we hadn’t planned.

How long does pre season last? I never understand why players that miss pre season can't do the same work once the season starts. Then it's just match fitness that they need.

Gutted for this lad. Sort of promised he will be playing, be it CB or RB before the season when he's fit, but the Belgian CBs are still in front of them no matter the contract situation and Poch rather plays Sissoko at RB than him.

How to stay motivated...?

Imagine KWP's thoughts right now.

Thought this guy was supposed to be our star RB this season?

Guess he's isn't fit enough #pochout

Makes it even more crazy that we sold Trippier last season without a replacement.

The mad thing was Poch not knowing if KWP was ready to play as one of our right backs. If you've got three players who can play in that position you should be ok, but he clearly doesn't think Aurier is good enough and he left it too late to decide about KWP.

Yes. Looking from the outside it's really mad that anyone can go that wrong.

I don’t understand... if he’s good enough to play RB for Argentina, then why isn’t he good enough for Poch? He’d rather start a ticking time bomb instead. It’s madness.
