Just a heads up that moaning about being banned from the transfer forum usually results in a slap down and some form of mockery from a well known mod.

You’ve obviously broken a rule and if it’s a permanent ban then it’s probably because you’ve posted something derogatory towards an ITK so no point moaning about it as your ban is permanent and you won’t be getting your access back.

I know all this first hand as I am on a permanent ban. Such is life.
I think the mass-banning from the transfer threads (including me) happened the summer before last. There was a prolonged bit of OT discussion, on several topics, over the course of a few days. The mods - well, one mod - got increasingly wound up about it and threatened several times that, if people didn't stick strictly to the thread topic, he would ban everyone who didn't follow instructions.

A day or two later I found that my had access gone and, judging by the mass outbreak of whinging (not including me), at least 20 other people had found the same thing.

For whatever reasons, I decided to let it be.

So I got mocked for thinking Foyth could play RB. But in the end he did pretty well there and was clearly the preferred choice over KWP. I actually wonder had he been at a mid table club and played RB all season I bet he wouldn’t be far off AWB in the wanted stakes. His marauding runs forward would definitely have caught the eye. If Alderweireld stays and with Sanchez CB is pretty locked in. While he’s still maturing I seriously think he is a realistic option to be Used at RB.

Thought he was average at RB.

Couple good runs but his positioning overall was pretty bad. Might get better with time though.

I’d rather we played players in correct positions though

He’s 21 and was playing as a 10 till about 3 years ago. Sissoko was moved to CM at 29 and become a different player. I very much doubt any player has found their true position 100% at 21.

Sissoko started as a CM/DM and then moved forward and wide.

What ever he’s doesn’t look a good RB imo and I’d rather we stick with what we got or go get another one if ours move on.

No. He's not a RB
Toby can also do a decent job at RB. That doesn't mean we should use him there

Yet Pochettino picked him over KWP so he obviously disagrees with you. Not really sure how you can categorically say he’s not a full back based on what ? He doesn’t have the obvious build of a CB that you obviously couldn’t see lumbering down the wing. He’s fast lithe and likes going forward. Pavard played a whole WC at RB who’s a very similar build to Foyth. Gomez has played RB for Liverpool numerous times. There’s a multitude of players that learnt the game at FB while they were young before moving to CB.

Pochettino also used Dier as a RB in his first year. So what??
Pavard and Gomez are also CBs.
Foyth can certainly cover the position if we need him, but he's not a RB.
We need to sign a new RB, not experiment with a young CB

I mean that “ITK” shouldn’t be taken into those threads and just stay in the itk thread.

That way the ones that don’t care for ”ITK” can still post in the player threads talking about the merits of the player.

We had a great long running thread about players we’d like to sign which now has been locked until after the transfer window.

Anyway things aren’t going to change which imo is a detriment to the site.

Back on topic now ?
Yep - I’m seriously disengaged. I’ve been banned for saying something whilst the transfer forums were closed. No idea what or why.

Forum’s prerogative to act like that. My prerogative to stop posting.

Be interesting to see if he gets a game against Qatar, since Argentina have been awful in their first two games.

I watched first 30 minutes he didn’t have much to do but looked very assured. Might be my imagination but he looks bigger.
