But every club will find where their 'comfort zone' is; which league they can easily exist in.

If a club finds themselves struggling in the Championship then it may be that they're not really big enough, so to speak, to be in the Championship.

Sport is a meritocracy, afterall, where everyone finds their level. Incidentally, it's one reason why I don't think there should be an independent regulator governing football.

Sport should be dog eat dog, in my opinion. That's what makes it fun to watch.

No one has a right to exist in the top division, or any other division. Just like you say it's a combination of football on the pitch and the skills of the people in the board.

Having seen how much Swansea’s board dicked around when Dan James was set to sign for Leeds, I don’t hold too much hope in this going through today.
They let the lad go and do his medical, sign various documents and then stopped answering the phone as the deadline drew closer.
Midnight struck and Leeds owner had to tell him that the deal was off.

There’s even pictures of Dan James holding up a Leeds shirt, incredible really

Apparently its in the Amazon doc?

"At the time it was the right decision. Leeds were offering me four years. The Amazon Prime documentary shows what happened: I got there in the morning, my agent said things could go to the wire, I did all the scans and medical stuff. I got to Elland Road about 6pm, did all the pictures with my shirt, all the interviews - because they wanted it to go out in the morning - and then it was strange.

"It got to about 9pm and I'd signed all the papers and then it was from club-to-club. I had people texting me saying 'what's happening?' and I literally didn't know. It wasn't until 15 minutes to go until I thought: 'this might not happen now'.

"I ended up ringing the chairman [of Swansea] to ask him what's happening. It was all a bit crazy and then it wasn't done - I threw my phone. I thought it's not real. The chief exec of Leeds wasn't happy at the time, but then it was just a case of driving home. It was a very weird situation and I think it helped me in some ways."

That’s the one, couldn’t recall where I remembered it from!

Sounds like the late-teen strategy for that lazy mate who couldn't be fucked to get off his sofa to go out.

"Ah, sorry boys, I fell asleep."

I thought CCV did ok when he was there on loan so I wonder why they won’t take him as the replacement...?

If money is not the issue according to ITK, could it be one of the following?
-Jose doesn't want him but the scouting team does
-There are concerns about his injuries
-Joe Rodon killed a man with a trident
