Japhet Tanganga is sidelined for our Premier League opener against Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (4.30pm).

The young defender has a thigh injury.

Really struggling to find out when he is likely to be back. I was impressed with his early performances for us and think he has a great future. Given some of the mishaps in defence I would love to see him given some game time next to Toby.

Personally I'd like to see him play as a more orthodox RB.
Next to Toby, Sanchez and Davies/sergio

Is he back in full training, or just doing individual fitness stuff?
Not ITK on this but I distinctly remember someone (Dragon or Gards I think) saying he’d be out for a couple months back in August. So I imagine he’s on a similar fitness timeline to Bale

Great to see him back and get some important minutes. Can't wait until he is fully match fit, think he can make a CB spot his own. Either way with all the games coming, we look much better at the back with Tanganga back and Reguilon involved now.

I’d love to see him used as a depth option across the back line this year, with a view to being a regular starter next. You have to be good to get minutes as a youngster under Jose

Would like to see him get more minutes on Thursday. Think we will see a very strong team that night though.

I’m more and more convinced he’s ending up a very good right back who can fill in at centre back rather than the other way around.
