I'm happy he looks to be getting a move.

Skipp needs one this summer too. We have to be better at knowing when to sell young players for their sake and ours.

we will probably keep Skipp this summer as we do not have enough HG players, unless we sign someone like KWP/Edwards

It's a great chant. Hopefully he goes there for another year on a perm, hears that a lot, does the business, and gets picked up in the prem by a promoted team

I suspect your right but I think he needs to play desperately.
Agreed and when he does play regularly I don’t doubt that Skipp will prove a very good player indeed.

As for Japhet he is just a great defender; any team who habitually have their backs to the wall is going to love him.

Their record signing is €2.5m so on a par/not much more than that I'd imagine
Great for him to have a breakthrough. After his performance against City under Nuno and Liverpool under Mourinho had hopes of a decent fee if he did not make the first team.

Still after all his injuries, great he has got a break and at a club where he is appreciated. Good luck to him.

Released today by the club. A bit surprised by this as I thought he had another year on his contract.

Good luck to him. Nice lad from a good family. Shame he didn’t make it with us as he showed glimpses of being a really good player.

I hope he goes on to have a good career - seems a nice bloke.

But I thought he would have had some value given an impressive campaign in the Championship - surprised he's gone for nothing.

The announcement specifically said departure ‘following conclusion of their contracts’.
Maybe we had an option for a further year (fairly sure that was the case with Sessegnon) but let him go for free now.

It does seem like a small shift in Levy prepared to take loses rather than long it out

Weird I thought there was rumour of agreeing something with Millwall? Either way sad to see him go. Remember that Liverpool game so well thinking he's got something about him. Like Sess I hope he finds his feet elsewhere and kicks on.

As I suspected. Makes sense really — they have no future and we’re going to be busy enough as it is, without extending deals then finding buyers.

Hopefully this ruthless approach follows through when selling other unwanteds. Not saying give them away but be realistic.
