I know for a fact there were punch ups, rarely but they happened, during training for the squad that won the double 60/61. They didn't stop the team performing and winning.
Players are very different now though, egotistical spoiled kids.

I mean, a complex assault amounting to abh, punishable in a court of law by up to five years imprisonment, is more than just a spat surely?

Really uncomfortable with the amount of conversation going on in this thread about something which a) almost definitely didn’t happen and b) could amount to slander if from this conversation some scummy journalist at the express or the sun read it and had a lightbulb moment in its tiny brain.
I get where you are coming from, totally. But have you ever played football for a team? At any level of competition? I’m 43 now but have played a lot of amateur footy, and things kick off all the time. I’m not saying everyone used to punch each other but on a very rare occasion it happened. Only once. And it doesn’t have to be a punch. Hard tackles, bit of an elbow. ?‍♂️

It's already been all over twitter for at least a day.

By tomorrow it will be something else trending. It's already consigned to old fake news.

Yeah, I can’t remember why, but I do remember that little known to Davids, Keane was an amateur boxer in his youth and he laid him out :D.

And then I’m sure that nutter Dalmat punched some youth player, which obviously didn’t go down well with the rest of the squad.
Yeh I think Dalmat punched O'hara strangely enough. O'hara would later have a punch up with ex-spur Micheal Brown when they were both playing for Portsmouth.

Punch ups happen all the time in football. It doesn't necessarily mean irreparable damage is done. Depends why. I can believe a punch up happened.

On the rumours, I think they are a bit far fetched, I just don't see why the club would act in the way it has in response to such a thing. It would be a major issue. It seems highly unlikely.

However, I think there is a (or was) realistic chance that something is happening behind the scenes that we are not fully aware of. I mean our players are 'unsettled' but, I dunno, I think that's just a fairly normal football thing, and wouldn't be the cause of division that Poch very much hints at. We may never really know though.

He didn't mysteriously for the first 3 games.
But in the first game he clearly was meant to be on the bench. But the rumour is he was left out of the squad because he had a disagreement with Poch.

Personally I think it was to do with fitness, or an attempt to think about the future without him, and he was kept out of the team a bit longer because of the disagreement.

Jan is very tactically minded. In the team he is thought to be the player most likely to go into management. Though Poch might pick Lloris on the basis of their incredibly close relationship, both philosophically and personally. I could easily imagine him to call out something he disagrees with to Poch, or even say Kane.

One rumour I heard was that over the summer Jan organised for some of the players kids over to play with his own but it turns out he was just using them to create an underground sweat shop for Dele's new clothing line. Kane was furious but Jan and Dele managed to appease half the team offering them a cut and a pair of jeans each but whilst Dele was lifting the box to hand them out caught Jan in the eye and the reason he didn't play first 3 games was that he was getting used to his new glass eye. Dressing rooms been split ever since.

Is it not possible Jan went up for a header and got a flailing elbow??? Some shit flying around is comedic.

punch is the word being used. I’m not uncomfortable with the idea of these things happening, I’m uncomfortable with unsubstantiated speculation about it and about the infidelity rumour. I’ve not played at any level, mainly because I have the brain of Xavi but the feet of a drunk daddy long legs.

Ah, I don’t do twatter.

The rumour I heard was that the players weren’t happy last season with the lay out of the changing rooms, so we’ve got some contractors in to refurbish, including a new partition.

Dressing room’s been split ever since.

Heard Dembele flew back from China to support jan as they’re Belgian teammates, also soldado put himself on alert just in case Harry was dropped and we didn’t have a striker.
If you don’t believe me I got it through WhatsApp so it must be true
