To be fair if Eriksen’s shagging is anything like his tackling I’m not surprised his missus was up for a proper good old poling

:D

So the club haven't offered Jan a new contract for the last few years because of this affair which happened a few weeks ago?

And it was Kane that got angry, not Eriksen?

And the club think that not offering Jan a new contract might help get Eriksen back onside, but also think that playing them in the same team isn't a problem?

I finally realise what those poling stations are that pop up every 6 months or so...

And i shall be visiting from now on. :hungry:

The club surely only would have fined the players if they had had a fight in training.
They wouldn't just withdraw a contract offer because of it.
Whatever happened, Vertonghen was possibly concussed and as a precaution, he was dropped to the bench for a few games.

I don't believe it would have anything to do with Eriksen - that's a separate story of him screwing the club out of £100m. He's giving it out, not receiving.

Kane, say, possibly just had a row with Jan - most likely over Brexit. I recon Kane, captain of england, has very strong feelings about all that.

Just found out this rumour was going round the ground today too lol.

I’d be surprised if Eriksen showed enough passion to be bothered to hit anyone myself? ?‍♂️
Some rubbish on twitter gets repeated and repeated. Who would have thought it.

I don't believe this for a second.

Vertonghen and Kane were congratulating each other at the end of the game yesterday.

If Kane was the one who hit Jan a box their never going to be shaking hands again, let alone likely to be playing in the same team again.

Time to move on folks.

Also, Jan and Eriksen were at Ajax together for 4 years and have been at Spurs together since 2013.

Imagine thinking this was true and no media outlet has reported it.

That rumour - bullshit - prob a nasty little person upset cos CE not signed a contract despite him giving us 8 years service.

Harry punching Jan - possible as it’s a physical game and people have disagreements all the time - anyone who has played football will have seen them - maybe a wayward tackle in training.

But they are intelligent blokes and would 100% put it behind them for benefit of the team - I’ve actually found you can have more respect for a person after a little tear up - clears the air and move on.

If this is true I think Poch would have dropped Jan instantly due to his morale code.

Probably some minor arguments blowned up in the hopes to generate clicks.

I will not reveal my source but they are top notch, if Rob or A C would like me to confirm I will via PM.
It may very well have been Kane. But there's a big difference between Kane smacking him and Kane hitting him with an elbow as they go for a header in training or something similar.

A bit of context would help. Don't need to reveal any sources.

Fair point, Harry punched Jan.

I feel that this is a very dangerous rumour to be discussing so loosely, and if untrue (which I believe it almost definitely is) could land the site in trouble if it leads to greater publicity for it.

I know for a fact there were punch ups, rarely but they happened, during training for the squad that won the double 60/61. They didn't stop the team performing and winning.
